Audi and B&O are huge liars Guys, you have no idea how terrible the B&O stereo system in this model (A5/S5/RS5) is. At the front they installed 6 ) tweeters, which are cutting/damaging your ears with too much emphasized high frequencies. There is NO MID range frequencies you can hear in this car. (the worst sound for the human voice. And the bass. - damn. it's not a bass. it's some chip weird sound from the bucket with several distortions and plastic vibrations (if you decide to listen music with volume higher than 65-70% volume. This B&O is not B&O really, it's a fake obviously Shame on Audi, shame on B&O for placing their logo on this crappy system In my older S4 B&O was REAL and it was a magic sound, regardless to the volume level. Guys, those who loves music and pay for higher level stereo - AVOID this model I will also complain to Audi customer service - but it's useless though, they know exactly WHAT they are doing. - they are lying to people and saving extra money (while we are paying for this higher level stereo. SHAME SHAME SHAAAAAAAME I hope those people who designed this stereo system and signed the the approval for it for production - will be fired I which they will listen for such a crappy sound for all their life. Again - LIARS, it's not a B&O stereo

Its a shame that you have to have to have your license plates in that position n also that you havent been sent the latest new lights that are available in the UK. I think people should wait for the new RS6 Avant as its amazing n the best all round car in the world. Seriously. All Audis have had the jump battery terminals in a the front n separate from the battery. Thats not a new thing. All the cons dissolve that the RS5 have when you go to the RS6 Avant. The reason why it wont do the tyre pressure under 16 MPH is because u cant get a true reading when the tyres are cold and or not moving. The traffic lights in the uk send a signal so u know how long the lights will be on n if u can make the next one, if not it shows u that its best to slow down to conserve fuel etc. Also the RS6 does 0-60 in 3. 5 seconds n handles great n u sit in total luxury n the best interior. Ive owned an Audi 6 Avant since 2008 n every time I go to upgrade I just cant find a better car. So I just buy a newer RS6. Shame u guys cant get them yet. You need to start shouting at Audi n also try n get it so your license plates dont cover up all the nice stylings of cars. Why does it have to be that shape? Hope that helps Doug. Greetings from across the pond

Know you're history. Audi brought the RS5 to the U. S. between 2013 and 2015 and it was a true Quattro GmbH product and something special unlike the current B9 RS5. It was an M3/C63 competitor and better than both in so many ways. The RS4 actually uses an older version of the 4. 2L whereas the RS5 used a 4. 2L based on the R8 V10 with two cylinders lopped off. Far better design and sounds out of this world with the proper exhaust. If Audi really wanted this to be a killer performance sedan, they would have kept the DL-501 S-Tronic and put real performance tires, not Hankooks. Plus it's the exact same chassis as the B8 with a rear suspension update and a breathed-on S5 engine, not a complete rework by Audi Sport which is the in-house version of Quattro GmbH. Is it a bad car? Not at all. Definitely not as timeless as the original and certainly doesn't sound as good. It'll respond to mods rather well and then some though but I suspect it'll take quite a bit of work to dial in the suspension to where it should be. Even though they bragged about making it lighter, it really isn't any lighter which is unfortunate.

12: 30 - As someone who works in an Audi dealership as a lot attendant, what I've found is that this little storage hole. thing is actually the perfect size to fit your key fob into if you lay it down on it's side. Other Audi models (like the Q8 for example) have a little hole in the cup holders that literally are designed to hold your key fob standing up. Just incase for whatever reason you decided you didn't want to keep your key fob in your pocket like a normal. sane person. Not like it bothers me, I generally have 5 - 10 keys on me at any one time, all on a large key ring that I'm not going to be able to fit into my pocket. edit: 12: 52 - This storage compartment from what I've seen is usually used for carrying the owners manual. It isn't always in there, sometimes people just throw it into the glove box anyway because it's not exactly normal to have such a large compartment there for anything at all.

I love the volume Knob placement in my Audi. You can relax your arm on the console and adjust it that way, its just awkward if your passenger puts their knee against it. The climate control vent on the right side does turn on. It is controlled by one of the silver buttons under the climate screen. The little storage is for the key, assuming you dont have a keychain. The left storage compartment fits the manual because the glove box is too small to fit it. The seats have massage functions and the gauge turns colors if you run it towards red line. I dont know if I saw that In the video. oh and the asterisk button on the steering wheel lets you program it to a button, for instance. the drive mode button.

Doug, the reason for the TPMS to work only when going 16mph is to do with more accurate readings with temp adjustments on a kinetically rolling tire. Also, the purpose for the turn signal indicator on the inside of the side mirror is to additionally alert the driver if they have left their signal on inadvertently on shallow turns (like lane changes. As you know, it is fairly common for people to not even recognize when their signals are still flashing. Also, the tiny storage in the center console is for the key fob. There's usually purpose in every car feature. Usually. Cheers

Doug Demuro 1st of all: its useful to have the volume knob on the passengers side becouse maybe you get a bit out of the car and the passenger wants to adjust the volume, he/she is your copilot and changing the volume shouldnt be a privilege. Second of all, its requied to be moving to 16mph because the pressure system doesnt measure the actual pressure, but instead it relies on the fact that low pressure tires spin more and high pressure spin less (low pressure inflated tires have a smaller diameter than high pressure inflates tires. Keep up the good job. I like your clips

Doug - I watch all your videos and love your work. Never commented on any of your videos until now. THE VOLUME KNOB I drive a 2017 Audi A4 which has the same layout as this RS5. My favorite feature on my car is the placement of the volume knob. Its the perfect location. Right at my fingertips as I rest my right arm on the arm rest. I dont have to lift my arm and reach out to the dashboard to change the volume. Ahhh. the problems our generation has. gotta love it. Btw. keep up the good work

Doug focuses on all the wrong things all the time. People that choose to buy this car aren't concerned with how far the back windows roll down or how comfortable the middle back seat is. Just because there's no regulation on how far a window rolls down doesn't mean they still won't do it to be more safe for children. Also, how often do you ever carry 3 people in the back? If you had to transport 5 people all the time you'd buy an SUV or bigger sedan not this sporty performance model.

Tablet style center screens are only controversial because reviewers keep talking about it. Placing the screen higher on the dash means it's easier to keep your eyes on the road when viewing navigation for example. On that note, giving it as little of a bezel as possible means less of the view is obscured and you don't have to build mountainous dashboards. You can object to the aesthetic styling if you want, but functionally it's a better design with safety in mind.
