Wonderful car, but it does not make me go. mmmmmm like the VanquishS does. And all the numbers show that performance is not really increased enough (IMO) to move to this model from the VanqhishS when it comes to realistic performance and use. I like the center console better than the previous versions though. Overall I can see it appealing to those who like sharper lines. and numbers. And Doug. stop with the cack seats stuff. I think everyone knows they are not functional seats, but storage seats. Now for another things I always smile about. infotainment systems. While I know they are important to many people, I find that I seldom USE them. Does it have basic GPS/Nav, and a way to play music? Good enough for me, and frankly, I could do without the GPS/Nav as well since smartphones tend to work just fine in a pinch anyways. When I drive, I. drive. :)Cheers

Doug missed a huge thing in this one, this is only partially an Aston Martin. The Superleggera is the logotype of the design house that coach builds the car. Full name is Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera di Milano. They designed the old classics, and now Aston Martin have brought them back on the top model. The name of the designer is Louis de Fabribeckers, the fabled designer of the worlds most beautiful car, the Touring Disco Volante. The car uses the patents for carbon fibre pressing that is a part of the Superleggera concept (Superleggera means Super-alloy, and the wheel well vents is a Fabribeckers special. Touring also designed the exhaust system to maximize the exhaust note. Oh god, I just went full on car-nerd

Okay so Styling = 8. Same score Doug gave the Buick Grand National - essentially a mid 80's Buick Regal that was blacked out. Cool, sure. Style equal to an Aston Martin DBS Superleggera? ( or ANY Aston) Uhm. No. Time to switch to a 100 scale there Doug. Really. And don't say the Buick GN was an 8 for it's time period - There were Aston Martins in the 80's. Take a look, and tell anyone: wow, thats almost as nice as this Buick I saw Go ahead. I'll wait.

Man, I don't get how the Superleggera only has an 8/10 in styling. I see this as the second most beautiful car made recently, Zagato being #1. Also, how is it only an 8/10 in quality? Maybe 9/10 because of practicality, but aren't these considered the highest quality interiors only behind Rolls Royce or Bentley? ALSO I feel like the Superleggera and 812 should have a 9/10 in cool factor, or at least add halves to make it an 8. 5

Oh Doug. I think you are getting too accustomed to all these exotic cars you are reviewing. All that time on the trunk, and the most 'noteworthy' detail us 'normal' car drivers never see are the large vents that apparently pipe into the deck lid. If that is not Doug worthy unusual, I don't know what is.

Doug, I urge you to start a program of aggressive yoga, with a short period of dynamic stretching prior to attempting to get in the back seat of such cars, as you are wont to do. Thus, you will avoid a back or hamstring injury which I very much fear is otherwise in your future.

All that money spent. that beautiful leather. Then the centre screen surround looks like the cheapest plastic crap - it's the centre of the interior - that would shit me. I suppose for another 5k they might wrap it in a ribbon of leather lol

Other Car Reviews: the dbs also has a range of aerodynamic features and these improve the flow of air over the car like a Formula 1 car as I'll explain it nowDoug: I think this is a beautiful line

I think it's been said before but why do reviewers think everyone wants to see their face while they're driving? I would much rather see the POV or just a view from in between the front seats.
