Much respect to Scotty, but this is a Jeep not a Toyota. In my mind, two completely different vehicles. I have had a Toyota Tacoma that was a rust bucket. Oh and the seating position was terrible. You practically sit on the floor pan and your legs straight out in front of you. Not to mention the transmission issues and many other issues. My Matrix (surface rust after 3 years from new) and was like driving around a microwave or appliance. Also a Paseo I bought for 250 which was I cant complain about. I recall back in high school rebuilding a teachers 5 year old (at the time) Toyota Tercel. It was the first time I saw a 3 cylinder engine. LolIts my opinion that Toyota is know for there reliability due to there Corrollas and Camery/Lexus thats what they did best. Time will tell, especially with Mazda teaming up with them. If you look back, practically every car manufacturer has only had a few gems. Lastly, the newer Toyota Tacomas are very disappointing. A friend has had one for 2 years now from new. The front plastic mess of a bumper and grill is falling apart due to regular driving. if you look into the grill, the Rad sits back what seems like 2 feet. Nothing substantial there. The truck in my opinion is cheaply made with old legacy parts. Why are they still using rear drum brakes in 2019?

I'm Told by FCA, this AH has spent 20mins talking about Crap you don't or won't need to know, and pissing his childish shorts over Dumb Shit like Little Jeep insignia and grills in the Front lights and where the Interior Lights are mounted, and nearly went orgasmic over an animated Jeep on the Gauge cluster screen and the brilliant design of Where the Toolkit is to remove And the Storage space For the bolts that 12% of buyers will Ever use More than Twice That whole Removable Roof Crap could have been easily, and 500% cheaper, resolved by a Double Sunroof or fully Retractable Moon-roof. 2-3mins at the Push of a Button - that'll Never get Lost the 2nd Time some AH is trying to Put his Tonka Jeep back together, and Oh F# Me I Dropped that essential bolt into the mud, and Now I don't see It anywhere Kids, put your rain-coats on, we need to get out of this Thunder Storm - Before this PoS fills with Water F# You FIAT Doug de-lights in the sound of his Own Voice a bit Too Much STFU Doug de Bore-O Pls

Steel Bumpers ARE NOT STANDARD on the Rubicon trim level, and as a matter of fact, they're not even an option right now, they're on restriction for some reason. Also, the rear rock guards under the tail lights will support up to 1/3 of the vehicle's total weight. There's a few other things you mentioned that aren't correct, but overall this is a pretty good review. We are about to hit 12, 000 miles on our 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, we've had it since late April. We will have a review of actually owning it and some of the things we've done are pretty crazy, including towing almost 8, 000 pounds to Florida and back from Detroit, 4x4 burnout, yes all four wheels spinning, jumped it off a loading dock and done some drifting and donuts, along with minor off-roading and rock crawling.

Sorry but these flashy junks will not going to last one whole week in Africa/East Europe /Russia/ except may be in USA or Canada (may be ). Why? Because they got no service and spare parts network anywhere in the world Reputation: No one buys them except fools and people with lots of money outside of USA Only ''Ford'' is the brand that can claim a top ten player in any given country or region but certainly not because of their Trucks or Pickups What will you do when it breaks down? It is also now not very simple basic Jeep of 50s and 60s, but a techy one and so Good Luck with that anywhere outside of USA Toyota Why. Land Cruiser 1976 Troopy Got mechanic? Yeah He is just few miles away

These things are hideous. maybe if it was single cab. I realize people like the room for the kiddos but in my opinion it is not aesthetically pleasing. 10: 55 Also I am not sure of the specs of that outlet in the bed but I would suspect that a toaster would be no bueno. Some tech is nice but tech and actual off-roading don't usually go together. I can see it, flopping around in the mud and tossing mud all over the infotainment system lol Also the long wheelbase, it is a mall cruiser. I like the idea of a jeep pickup but I feel like they kinda missed the mark.

This seems like a paid sponsorshipThis truck doesnt really look or have that truck feel to it. It looks like they just added a 5ft box in the back of a Rubicon. That built in portal speaker seems kinda ehh for an option. The fact that its only 4doors. & no options for 2 door & extra cab makes it dull. No option for long bed bummer. Ive watch that video on how to carry lumber & plywood in this truck, cringy. This is one of those trucks people get so they can say yeah i drive a truck too

These new jeeps are soft, ain't like the ol' willys from back in my day, a real jeep was just a radiator, a half a floor board, a few break lines and a mouth full of bull piss mixed with cigar clippings, you young generation call it chew and beer, we aint even have seats, you sat right there on the transfer case, no firewall and the passenger was blessed to have heat off the manifolds, now you dandys call it 3rd degree burns and smoke inhalation, and it has Ac and a navi

financially buying a piece of sh Chrysler product makes more sense than buying a Toyota Tacoma? And this is why you never listen to a journalist who has never worked on a car. The most important feature of a car is its reliability and maintenance costs. Having previously owned Chrysler products which are always rated at the bottom of the pack on reliability, I guarantee the average owner will be happier with a Toyota Tacoma (or virtually any other non-Chrysler product.

I have a Rubicon JK with 3. 5 lift and 22 fuel wheels. I checked out a Gladiator with a 4 lift and 40 deep dish wheels it it dwarfed my JK. It was by far the sickest thing I have ever seen. In 4 years I think I am going to have to get this with tough guard paint, soft top, diesel and upgrade the wheels to 40, the lift to 4, automatic, with upgraded bumpers and a towing hitch to pull an RV.

The 79 series Landcruiser v8 diesel is the 4x4 king of the outback of Australia because you will always come back from the outback. Jeep you want come back from the outback unexplainable reliability issues no better than Chinese cars there pure rubbish. lemons. the Landcruiser always makes the jeep look like a softer 4x4 a more reliable common sense 4x4. ah ah you got a jeep
