Rimac Nevera review! The Rimac Nevera is an amazing car -- and it's a complete game-changer in the hypercar world, as it's insanely fast and fully electric. Today I'm going to reivew the Rimac Nevera, and I'll show you all around the Nevera -- an amazing 2. 5 million hypercar. I'll also drive the Rimac Nevera and show you what it's like behind the wheel. Frank: Controversial how this car was designed. I agree with Doug and I imagine it was focused on function more than form. Reminds me of some Japanese cars like the new Supra out NSX. I actually like the Supra design more than this frankly but it s in a different league. I don t fault Rimac for this at all though. It s a good looking car, truly. I m also sure in person it s sheer presence adds to the look.

These insanely fast hypercars are amazing. I also like how Rimac gives the controls more of an analog feel.
That said, I think the 1, 000+ hp electrics are more of a gimmick, like 3D TVs. The hypercars will continue to push 2, 000 hp, but more daily driver companies, like Tesla, will stop making cars like the Plaid. Once electrics become more common, people will be pushing for range, and when they see that if you punch these 1, 000 hp cars all day, you'll get the same mileage out of your batteries as a '69 Charger with a 426 Hemi did out of its gas tank, those super-powerful hyper-sedans and trucks will become less attractive. Also, the knowledge that, if your Plaid is your daily driver, you will eventually have to envision your 16-year-old behind the wheel of it.

Rimac is not a new company, they've been around for a long time, but their core business is not making cars, it's making electric powertrains and battery systems for manufacturers (like VW. When they make a car it's just to show off what their tech can do.
Now that they own Bugatti we can probably expect cars more frequently, though I imagine their next project will be an electric Bugatti.

Styling is never a determining factor in performance and the understated style queues only reinforce that over the top rocket ship/time machine hey, look at me! Are unnecessary and in reality are proven moot by what this car is and does!
P. S. I LOVE THIS UNDENIABLY GREAT CAR!

This car manages to look fast without being overly styled and flamboyant, to the point of becoming tacky (I'm looking at you both, Apollo Intensa Emozione and Inferno Exotic Car)
BTW: Nevera in Spanish means Freezer, like, the freezing compartment of a domestic fridge XD

I agree with Doug s opinion of styling. This car is going to be parked next to other hyper cars at meets and such and it will look less exciting in comparison. As someone who will never buy this car I think it still looks awesome haha

I think you should recalculate your acceleration stats or go over 10 because a car accelerating 1. 8 0-62 is over 35% faster than a car accelerating 2. 99s 0. 62! Yet both get a 10/10. These electric cars are redefining what fast is.

99. 9999% of us in the comments will never own this car.
99. 999% of us in the comments will never see this car.
99. 9% of us in the comments can not afford this car.
Oh how lucky that. 0001% must feel we will never no!

First preproduction car Doug has been able to drive? I can t think of another. No Rimac for allowing it. Also funny 002 of only 150 is preproduction. Sounds like there will be actually less than 150 for the world.

I want to see Doug reveiw the SpaceX Dragon Capsule, I can't imagine all the quirks and features plus a how it drives segment so we can see his face while it launches
