Lads. prob too many comments here for you to get this but throwing it out there anyway. I watched every episode up to supergramps original demise in the rain, then last track of what was happening because, well you know, life. just had the maddest binge session for the last week and caught up (video for video mcm and mcm2 as uploaded) to this particular video. man. i left off because i thought you had lost the reason why you started but since watching the build on ms. daisy, supergramps revival, s2000 nos, and now this I'm flekkin impressed. you've brought the 15yo kid out in me. I've gone from v8 guy to turbo xr6 dude to datsun and back again. and double unicorn has just ticked EVERY box. Few more episodes to get through yet but sleep is understated. I've actually given up my job in the mines and decided to get back into cars because of this. THIS SHIT MAKES ME HAPPY. U MAKE ME WANT EAT TOFU.

The Stagea double unicorn is one hell of a build. I've just watched through the series on creating it and it's just awesome, I know Ben and Alan are professionals and have some specialist skills that a lot of home builders may not have but it really shows what can be done with some thought and attention to detail. With the double fuel pump set-up I reckon there must be a decent chunk more power to come and with a built engine I reckon it could be pushing some built Skylines for power. With all that V8 torque to haul it off the line and the turbo power I reckon that grey wagon is going to be giving a lot of people nightmares down the strip. It sounds fantastic too. The saying there's no substitute for cubes may not be technically true, but more cylinders and more cubes certainly doesn't hurt any.

so seeing its a awd vh-41 then how come hes able to only use rear wheels on the warm up? has he disconnected the front CV's to power issues or is he using the torque splitting ability found in some nissans?

Great video guys! But please Marty, you have to stop driving through the waterbox with street tires or even slicks if you're not doing burnouts. Drive around it, I bet it will help your traction issues.

next time maybe try swapping drivers, martys got a much better technique off the line, that combined with the closer gearing gives a maaaad advantage. I reckon a driver swap would make a fair difference.

I think miss daisy will be a fierce lil beetle if you guys ever figure out the clutch issues and maybe some suspension mods to keep the front end down! Love super gramps but miss daisy has my heart

it's about time they built that ez36 and turn the boost up. 650whp I reckon on e85 with the 35r.
not sure the open deck block will like it but there's always closed deck inserts
