Rotary engines arent that bad. We had taken my fathers 2005 RX-8 (that we owned since new) to 188, 000 miles before the apex seals broke.
If you take care of youre car shell take care of you in return.
Sadly not many people take care of the rotary engines and use cheap fuel, turn the engines off when they are cold, dont top off the oil regularly, and the engines start to break down.
Sure its a lot of extra maintenance that you dont have to do with a regular combustion engine car. But the linear power delivery is so amazing. The engine sound is like nothing else too. We loved that car and it is by far one of my favorite driving vehicles ever.
I always keep my eye out for another one. But not many people take care of them sadly.

10: 04 - not 100% true. Technically there are borders between countries in Europe but most of them are open and there is no border controll. However, this is the result of Schengen Agreement, not belonging to the European Union. All of the EU countries has signed the Schengen Agreement but Norway, for example, is not in the EU and has signed the Schengen Agreement so you can go from any EU country to Norway without any border control.

- Or you could just pick up the whole thing and just.

Marty just killed it. Wicked. Though it is proper to just Chop it up!
Also, France was just a few k's off. Gotta go half a look some day, the whole country is full of beautiful places!

At least with VW TDI engines, any minor leak in the turbo boost pipes will cause major problems. If your boost pressure cannot be regulated to the spec by the factory ECU, you end up in limp home mode which makes the engine slower than naturally aspirated one (zero turbo boost + fuel limit. A split in boost pipe can be fixed for a couple of days with enough tape.

Dont need a lot of money to have a mad adventure. did I get that right? So their air travel, 1000 easy, you guys got free tickets. And extra 2000 to buy a car. You guys also got a free flash tune. And hotel stay another 1000, which you also got for free. So an easy 4k for just one person. yeah a totally cheap adventure.

Speaking of how you can through a bunch of different countries in a day in Europe, I had a teacher in school once tell me something that haven't yet forgotten. He said that in Europe 100 miles is really far, and in America 100 years is really long.
edit: wait did Marty say RX7 and linear power in the same context? lmao

Good God! Ive been through those roads so many times! We used to go to Austria to get clothes, or sometimes just to get gas as it was way cheaper in Austria, in the very two gas stations you can spot in the border scene!
Id imagine going abroad to get gas sounds pretty wild to some people!
