I look up to you guys because MCM taught me a lot on how to modify a Mira! I had a Kancil EX850, basically the same car. And you guys are the only people on the planet that have guide videos on these nuggets even though with your credibility and budget, you can be wasting time on more worthy expensive cars, and for that I thank you.

Today's kei cars are actually faster than regular 1. 5L cars now. Like the Suzuki Alto Works and Mitsubishi EK Sports that does 0-100(0-60) in less than 8sec while the Honda Fit, Suzuki Switft, and Toyota Yaris does it in 10s

Fun fact: There was a Yaris (Vitz) in Japan with a 1. 5l turbocharged Engine that put out 110 kilowatts and 0-62 in 7. 9 seconds? Being turbocharged at only 0. 5 bars, i think there would still be potential in it.

Stiff rollbars & proper tyres is all you need to make that yaris faster than that mira on a track, as it was so close already.
Also it was very quiet inside the Yaris all the time during the race.

With the 1. 5l you would have beat the mira.
Also a mk1 yaris with the 1. 6l wouldve been even faster.
I do think theres better aftermarket parts for the mk1 anyway.

in malaysia. mira is rebadge as perodua kancil. but it n/a. but turbo mira engine cannot beat proton savvy 1. 2l(renault engine.
