OBD2 ports are a US Federal standard, not a California one. California had smog testing, just relied on actual testing equipment and not the honesty of manufacturers (see VW on how smart that blind trust was rewarded.
But California instigated the dumbest smog control laws around. The type that made California cars the very dirtiest in the nation for decades.
In the 1960s and 70s, a smog pump was one of the ways that helped clean up the idiotic results from morons still believing running very very rich was a great idea. Any car from the 1970s and earlier, without secondary air injection, would just billow blue (fuel filled) smoke.
After the oil embargoes of the 1970s, manufacturers fixed the issue by instead running lean mixtures. Ended up that the idiots were wrong, and decades worth of airplane engines were in fact avoiding melting from lean mixes, which made it so they could fly much farther for longer.
Seriously, people believed running even slightly lean would destroy your car. These idiots never learned how the US military aircraft quadrupled their flight times during WWII simply by switching to a more lean model than a rich one. (see Charles Lindbergh's contributions during WWII)
One way to deal with the pollution would be to set standards, and allow manufacturers to reach them in any way they can. The California way is the make a very specific piece of equipment standard, and then ignore every single bit of advancement and ingenuity after that. It's better to seem like you're done something, than actually try to fix an issue.
Fun things to do in the 1990s, take California car in to get a smog check; pass test. Go home, remove smog pump, get retested; fail test (no smog pump) while having much much cleaner exhaust products. Create less pollution, have a bit more horsepower (while, again, creating less pollution) and still fail since no smog pump.

Marty is correct. once the sauce / food is cold, the refrigerator takes less energy to keep it cold, and takes up air volume in the fridge. refrigerators cool the air inside by extracting the heat, so the more food you keep inside them, the less air the fridge has to cool. In long power outages, if you have a lot of food in the fridge, the cold food keeps everything cold longer. less food inside and it will heat up faster and go bad. Now if the sauce has enough acidic content, and if doesn't have to be put in a fridge, ya it never has to be cooled down by the fridge. but the fridge is plugged in 24-7, so the fridge is running regardless if the sauce is in the fridge or not.

I contacted Motone a couple of weeks back enquiring about their x-pipe. I asked if it would increase the power on a Thruxton R. 'Sure, for the cost it's a no brainer' came the response. 'Great' i replied, 'have you a Dyno graph readout? ' Never heard back from them.
I've been biking for over 30yrs and used to fall for all the false promises in the past. Now, before i part with my cash, i want these companies to back up their claims with hard evidence. if they have confidence in their products then it shouldn't be a problem. Anyway I'll be buying from a German company that does have the Dyno readout for it's performance enhancing products.

BMW GSR? Drove around the world - check out Ewan McGregors 'long way round' I personally don't like them cause they are just a tad to big for me (and I own a 800 pound motorcycle) but they are amazing. Now on to the real thing - I love your videos. I'm also from halfway around the world - up here in ND. Please keep this stuff up. It's so nice to see something that is different than a blown hemi, or a monster super charged trans am. I love how you have fun with the normal stuff you see every day.
And this is a really nice cafe racer style bike.

Ive tried several times to order your limited edition poster and both times your site has declined The transaction. the first time, I recieved a call from fraud prevention from my bank and they froze my debit card, which I called and approved the transaction but was still denied the second time. I give up. Idk if its my bank denying the transaction due to it being an international transaction or what, but I do know its not for lack of funds.

No dude. No. The T-120, not T-100. My wife has a Speedmaster 1200, different engine tune, but mostly the same 1200cc motor, and a ton of fun for a little cruiser. Great motor and power. Brakes, handling, nimble, all better than you'd expect before riding it. It's not apeshit fast like my Multistrada can be (I'm fully aware its not the fastest bike in the world, but unless I'm going all out, she usually keeps up just fine.

I would like to say, your small mods to your bike were quite interesting. I liked the tail light mainly, I have 2016 T120 have done the cat change with same pipe as u, but have changed the exhaust and fitted Power Commander, standed 64hp now 75rwhp with 83nmt. . Mine is Chrome didnt like the Black. I have 1924 AJS 1929 AJS 1956 Triumph T110, 1975 Trident T160, 1975 Norton Mk3 & 2 x Triumph bicycles 1954 & 2010.

You guys are legends! I just bought a used 2017 Triumph Street Scrambler, and it had the hyper flash problem from the LED tail tidy. Your little tip about changing the setting on the dash was perfect! Thx Guys and hope to see u in Napa, California some day.

That was very well done - now looking for a Modern Bonneville to do
Something similar to. I reckon those mods are subtle enough to slide under the defect radar on most HWP, except perhaps the cat x-over. Be nice to have a cat-like cover on the X-over.
