This Is What We've Been Doing
video description
Her depression is still in our everyday-life but mostly as a form of anxiety at this point. It took the worst 6 months of her life before we got help with money for a therapist, and another 3 years before she could resume some form of education/work. Through those 3 years everyone around her saw the improvements she made, but she didn't believe them and thought she never would get better.
If you feel that nothing is worth doing, that life is never going to be better or that noone would care if you disappeared, GET. HELP. You are worth it and there is always someone who cares and life only gets better as you get older. Talk to someone you trust and can be serious with if you have someone like that, or your doctor, a free therapist, an online forum/reddit/facebook-group for people who are going through the same thing and ask for advice, or even a suicide hotline, who can tell you what to do in your country and situation

I won't be at the Sydney event, but thank you guys for participating in the mainstreaming of mental health awareness. Seriously - the fact that mental health advisors will be at something like a huge modified car meet is just an amazing mark of progress at bringing broader awareness and acceptance of mental illness. The de-stigmatising effect of things like this is just absolutely bloody massive. You guys' continuing support of this cause in such a direct way is a brilliant and noble thing.

Ive been watching the show now ever since series one and I absolutely love how much it has grown over the years and the impact you guys have had on the car community. But sadly I live in the USA so attending a meet is kinda out of question, but it would be cool to see a meet here maybe where you guys could team up with road kill again. But thats all just hopes and dreams

I still live in hope for the day you guys say you're coming to England again! I was gutted that I couldn't make it the last time due to being horrifically ill. Would absolutely love to be able to meet you guys and personally thank you for all the help and inspiration you've given me over the last decade or so! keep up the good work fella's!

You guys are truly awesome and are very caring. Spreading the word about Anxiety is amazing. I've dealt with it and depression but thanks to my amazing doctor life is so much better now. Don't think your alone, talk to someone. And final note, I wish that I could come to the event but Pennsylvania, USA isn't just a hop, skip, and a jump away!

If you guys are wanting to come to a show out in the states we have a very large show/drift event/circuit racing event here in Utah called Import Spring Showoff at Utah Motorsports Campus. I'm sure if you talked to the guys that put it on they would give you your own meet and greet area or a whole pit building to do that.

You should have the Reach Out guys offer to come for a drive if insurance allows it. That way they can have a private chat in what us car guys consider a safe space and they can connect with them over cars. I feel itll overcome the embarassment of talking about this stuff that only exists in the minds that need the most help.

No moog. Thank you guys for making this show. I love when i see a new episode is out in the morning. It gives me something to look forward to when i get off work. I even like when you guys do random stuff like go kabab hunting. I dont think we have anywhere to get anything like that where i live.
