Heres What Toyotas are Like in Europe, Toyota Corolla AE92 claudepgh: Two things this Toyota had that North American models did not. The headlight height adjust. Many cars in Europe and Asia have a control inside the car to adjust the height of the headlamps. This control was near his shifter next to the mirror control. Very Cool. And the controls concerning headlight brightness next to the fuel quality control. A switch that tells the computer to adjust the timing based on the octane of the fuel being burned. Both of these are unheard of here in North America. DOT/SAE both in Canada and USA dont want driver adjustment of lowbeam height or brightness from the drivers seat in real time. Nice Review.

Its all relevant young man, Having grown up with the Ford Anglia and Cortina Mk1 in the 60s when we got to the late 80s and 90s we were all saying how complicated and difficult these cars were to work on, ohh If we had only known the pleasures of trying to repair a 2018 car But your car is fantastic, I think it was the last of the cars that the home mechanic could repair just about everything himself, Look after your car and it will be going long after the rolling computers that came after it are in the scrap yard, thanks for the video you are polite and good manners and that is nice to see these days.

Scotty have you noticed Toyota has pretty much dropped CVT transmissions from their lineup? Also Hyundai, Mazda and KIA have no CVT unless electric of course. It seems that they are coming to their senses. However Honda, GM, Nissan full of CVT crap. Not to mention a few others. I knew the jig was up when I noticed the higher priced models still had Automatics, I thought well aint that special they are putting those CVT crap transmssions in their lower brands but not their higher end models. What finally made them come to their senses that CVT is ju k that we all knew?

Dear Scotty Kilmer - thank you for all these videos. As a Toyota expert, could you please answer a Toyota question? Ive been offered to buy a 2002 Toyota Corolla T-Sport with the 1. 8 liter VVTL-i engine which had 192 hp as new. The car has rolled 140. 000 miles. Is this a solid engine, or should I be afraid of it blowing up? I do not plan to use it as a daily driver, but in the weekends.

Cmon, SOMEBODY has a genuine British Leyland car they can show off LOL I want to see a Morris Marina Or a Rover SD-1. The Rover SD-1 needs a fair hearing instead of Top Gear UK mocking it for being a BL product. The Marina, OTOH, does have a nice balanced appearance but, thats all it has. It was such a loser that it deserves special recognition.

Really cool car Im fromt the netherlands to and have the same car. There are some things that are not correct. This series corolla were still made in Japan. Also the 1st gen 4A-FE that these corollas got have a maximum of 105HP. That said still really cool and if you ever sell it I would buy it without hesitating. Goede video kerel

Oh my bloody Flippin goodness. Why the hell didnt Toyota supply one of its biggest and consistent buyers (SOUTH AFRICA) these features in these generation of the Rolla. Mxm. That wasnt even a Rolla here. It was a Conquest then later names a Tazz. Has basically NON of those interior features

A friend of mine had this model. I drove it twice from the Netherlands via Austria to the north of Slovakia (in one go of 18 hours) and one time to Italy. It was so smooth and comfortable. When we got back home and I had get back into my old and worn Ford Fiesta I was heart broken, lol.

I want one Bring back the simple, practical, functional, useful designs in cars that really matter, things that make driving fun, and give the driver a sense of control, in place the nannies that modern cars are full of.
