Nissan is Finally Closing and Ending Car Production in America Christian Pastrano: Just another Toyota lover hating on Nissan. Last time I checked the Nissan 350z/ 370z is way better than the Toyota frs. The Nissan frontier still selling even though it's 15 years old, it's the cheapest truck in USA and one of the most reliable. The gtr blows away the new Toyota rebadged BMW/Supra. And don't forget Toyota MASSIVE MASSIVE screw up with the gas pedal problem. I would know, I was fixing them at a dealership by the dozens when it happened

my friend has 2013 focus with that transmission. when he bought with 19k miles. shifted great, fast, took off good, was super nice and sporty. as it aged started shifting shittier and shittier, and shutters real bad taking off. one day it just stopped moving, at about 65k miles. next day it barely drove, had to hold it in 1. got it to ford dealer. they changed out the TCM and it started driving like normal again. now has 160k miles and still driving, shifting shitty and shuttering each time you take off. don't know how that thing held up this long without breaking down. its out of all extended warranties and everything and all he got for a while, lets see if it shutters its way to 200k

Scotty, you fuss about automatic transmissions incessantly. Does ANYONE make a decent automatic these days for cars or light trucks? Even your beloved Toyota is using CVT's in some of their cars, and by all accounts, those are all terrible transmissions. You need to do a video on just automatic transmissions, and tell us which ones are actually any good, and which cars use the good ones. I drive manuals, but my wife refuses to learn, and she'll be needing a car soon, so I really want to hear what you have to say on this matter. We'll be looking for a 3-5 year-old midsize sedan or small crossover, preferably a 4-banger with port injection or combo port/direct injection.

Scotty I have a 2003 Honda Odyssey with 251, 000 miles on her. I brought her band new, and have never had the fuel filter changed as I was told the car only had one filter that was inside the gas tank. I'm curious if that is actually true, as most fuel injected cars usually have one in the pressure line somewhere. Want to know if my oil change guy was just telling me fish stories, and was just being too lazy to deal with it. If so where might I find the bloody thing, so I can have my neighbor who is a real car mechanic like yourself take care of that for me. Lauren XX

I dont want to junk it I want to know if it can be fixed? please help me. Thank you

It really is shame how Nissan went down the tubes. They/Datsun were once beating everyone with their innovative, top quality and reliable cars. So many people looked up to them now they are shadows of their former selves. I am actually a Toyota fan but I even envied Nissan back then now, I would never consider purchasing a Nissan. I hope they restructure and reorganize themselves because there is hope that they can regain those legendary status they once had.

I never owned a Nissan and never will but to be fair many large companies shut down between Christmas and New Year and usually make everyone take vacation days. Publicly held companies must treat employees vacation hours as debt therefore making the entire workforce use those hours at the end of the year gets rid of that debt for the bottom line. Of course being a backyard mechanic you have no clue about the corporate world.

GAS VENTIn some states they have to return the fumes back threw the pump to there inground tank. The pumps plug up and they stop returning fumes. New cars with this fast cap really make it harder. it has problems on my new 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid (4, 700 miles) and it keeps kicking the pump off (also did it on my 2014 Kia Sportage. I just move the noisal to one side a little and it blows off the fumes and it fills.

Scotty, i use to ride motorcycles and Hanglide. Got married had kids became a Firefighter and lost my nerve to do both. Seeing a 19 year old boy who was hit head on by a mother who crossed the double yellow lines, covered by two tarps 20 feet appart cured me of riding. That was 30 years ago and today their are way TOO many idiots on the roads

I remember when I was a kid, my neighbor had a crimson blaze (bright red) 1999 Maxima SE and it was a manual I wanted it so bad and would stare at it every day when Id walk home from my bus stop. I wouldnt be caught dead staring at a new Maxima, even if I was 13 again. However the newer accord sport in red with a manual kind of reminds me of it
