Hi Scotty, I recently bought a 2018 Honda Accord Sport 1. 5T CVT. I am the second owner with 21000miles. It always has a stable Hohoho sound during the initial acceleration btw 0-40. Went to a couple dealership and they all told me it's normal. They said I am fine as long as no trouble lights on. One mechanic told me it's from the turbo. I researched a lot online and there's all kind of saying about weird sound. I am really confused and annoyed by the sound. I know it's not because Santa is laughing.

Scotty before you retire you should write a book, maybe two, three, definitely more than one. The first book could be, Simple mechanical fixes you can do at home OrThings you need to know about your car Or The tools you need to do maintenance on your car Your second book could be: how to buy a car that last a long time. And, A third book could be: how to make sure you're not getting ripped off at the Dealer's while buying a car and the owner's guide to cost-effective repairs

People in the train horn and also air suspension communities swear by Viair compressors. They last forever, work quickly and with minimal heat buildup and require basically no maintenance. Now these people use high end Viairs, like 480cs, which will blow the doors off of the ones meant for tires, but the quality carries down their whole lineup. Air Zenith makes amazing compressors too.

tip for new drivers: if you have an honest mechanic pay them 100 or so on a slow day to teach you how to maintain your cars healthy functionality (this makes you less vulnerable to exploitation because you will at least sound knowledgeable when you present an issue to someone)

My college age kids put about a gallon of motor oil in the windshield wiper fluid reservoir, which was empty. She thought the low fluid light was the oil light and thought the windshield wiper fluid reservoir was the crankcase. What the hell do I do now?

Scotty always says find a guy like me. But without a modicum of knowledge, how will you know if they are honest? Research is easy in 2019. Find an honest mechanic yes, but also take the time to do your own research.

Hydrogen gas can build up around the battery terminal before you attach the second jumper cable. Therefore, I blow the air away from the area right before attaching the second clamp.

Mechanic with digital air pressure gauge and heavy duty air pressurizer in trunk. Tires at 20lbs. Lol. I still love Scotty. Humor and humility can never be overvalued in a man.
