Hey Scotty, I have a 2015 mustang ecoboost premium (6-speed automatic) with the performance pack, 59k miles. I bought it in 2015 from a lady who put 3k miles on it, didnt like it because it wasnt easy for her to get in and out. I change the oil every 5k miles, at 30k miles I got the injection cleaning done, at 50k miles I got the brake hoses flushed out. So far the only problem I had with it is that I needed 4 new spark plugs at 58k miles, and new fuel pressor sensor at 55k miles. I dont drive it like a maniac, what is your experience with this engine and car overall? What should I expect? How does it hold up? Its been out for 5 years so I hope you have some personal experience, it would help a lot of the mustang fans outThank you in advance Gabor

I read that the point of the hydrid system at least for Toyota is their long range plan for the fuel cell car. I may be wrong about this but I understand that fuel cells need to warm up to operating temperature at startup which takes about 5 minutes. To overcome this Toyota uses a battery to run the fuel cell car from startup which is later recharged when the fuel cells take over. This is essentially a hybrid system and Toyota uses components from their hybrid system in their fuel cell Mirai. Like the Prius, the hybrid system improves the fuel efficiency and extends the range of the Mirai.

In regards to the question about the Nissan with higher rpms when going downhill, it could actually be that the computer is sensing that they're going down an incline and kicks into a lower gear to give more control to the driver should they brake. I have a Honda that does that too and it scared the crap out of me when it first happened. Now I work as a Honda technician and I've learned that's just normal, it's a safety feature.

HEY SCOTTY, my 2013 chevy impala lt has 100, 259 miles on it and it runs like a dream for the most part, but I've noticed that when I'm taking off from a stop the transmission is slightly jerky and then it eventually smooths out. Could this be the transmission speed sensor? I had a advance auto guy hook my car up to a scanner several months ago and I think the code for the transmission speed sensor came up but I don't remember.

This comment is for Scotty & G67, at 5: 22, '95 GMC runs crappy when wet/humid. When is the last time you had the Distributor Cap & rotor changed? Had this same experience with both a '97 GMC 5. 7 V8, AND a '95 Toyota 6-cyl p/u truck. Both high mileage. Check/change thee distributor cap & rotor. Change spark plug wires also if they are old. I did not know about the grounding wires being such a problem w/the GM's. Thanks, Scotty

This surgeon brings his Harley to his mechanic for some routine maintenance. The two are shootin' the sht when the mechanic says to the surgeon; Ya know doc, I don't get it. we both do the same thing. We remove and replace parts and fix things on our patients, but you get paid soooo much more than me. How come? The surgeon is quiet for a second and says; because I can do it with the motor running

My nephew asked me whether he should buy a honda ridgeline or a chevy avalanche. I truly said, You're asking ME this question? Buy the Honda. Then he had to explain to me the 'true' fourwheel drive etc. I finally said, You just want to put big tires on it. He said yep. 2 weeks later avalanche is in the shop. LOL. I'd rather put big tires on the ridgeline. It'd still last longer hehee.
