We bought a New Corolla in 1998 in Houston, it only had 1, 000 miles on it a few weeks later when I went out to use the car, and it had rained a really lot for a few days, I open the car and its a steam bath, the windshield had leaked and flooded the dash and entire front end. I took it to Toyota and asked for a New car, they said they would service it and dry it out and blah blah blah I said no, New Car They refused, so I made a Lemon sign and sat in front of their dealership on Saturday, the police soon arrived and told me I could not be there, but the officer told me if I was on the rother side of the road he wouldn't bother me. So, long story short, I protested a few days and was turning away their business, but Toyota did not care, they gave me the car back as they had fixed it. So I took the car down to the dirt road by the train tracks and beat it to near death for a good hour, I made it into like a 10yo used car, LOL, then I parked it in the dealers lot and left it there. Never buy another Toyota.

kbb is funky. Dealership prices for the exact same used care are like 2k more. Then the mileage can affect the car considerably even if it's only 6k below average on a 100, 000 mile vehicle. I saw a mustang kbb valued at 10000 from a dealer, but the DMV values it at 3800 (insert scotty laugh. I dunno, but in all fairness it's a not so common mustang that is sought after. Still, ridiculous.

I bought a 1994 Toyota Pickup 5speed for 2000 with 340, 000 miles owner claims all highway. So far a great truck. Came with bluetooth touchscreen radio and nice wheels. Just needs a bit of work but nothing I can't do myself. Also convinced my dad to sell his Mercedes and buy a 2011 Tacoma 4x4 with 84, 000 miles. All thanks to you scotty I kept sending him videos about Mercedes haha

What's your opinion on the 2013 Acura RDX? I've own it now for six months. It's been great (should I hang onto it, only has 77K miles, but I'm wanting the the current generation, which one do you favor (if any, the V6 or the new 2. 0t. Also I'm liking the Infiniti 2019-2020 QX50, but they may be experiencing some engine issue with their new technology. Thanks

Your diamond engagement ring story rings true with me. My ex paid 1000 for my engagement ring in 1981 in 2017 my daughter was selling hers and took mine to sell She got 50 for my ring and 1000 for the ring her ex purchased for 3000 in 2010. Diamond engagement rings are like cars a rip off purchased new, buy used

So if Kelley Blue Book or NADA aren't accurate used car values, what is? I can't go to a used car dealer who is offering a car at blue book value and say, oh sorry, Scotty Kilmer says this price is too high and that blue book values are inflated. It doesn't work like that in the real world.
