Coolest feature on the Element was space solutions. You could take out one of the backseat to put mountain bikes in it. The seats would all fold flat creating 2 cots for some overloading or overnight sleeping. I hope the new ones share some of these kinds of things. And for the FJ threaders. Fj was pulled just when it started getting popular. Just look at the resale of used ones. It's the most popular used vehicle out there. They are bringing top dollars and as far as it going hybrid. Not very practical for offloading. The Fj' s cred is like a Jeep, offroad ability. A hybrid would make it too heavy, too delicate plus try to plug it in off the beaten path. I hope Toyota doesn't screw it up however as they make reliable vehicles(there's no arguing that; -), they don't make exciting vehicles. They make appliances. Heck the 86 is a Subaru and the supra is a BMW. A prius for everyone. blah.

Why u buy honda you are not 20 years old you are 60 and over i think. You are not young i would spend for crazy cars like pagani zonda r. and having fun My father died at 65 years. Better to have 1 car good car for fun and 1 car for store. Why to spend for hondas and toyotas when you are rich. U never know how long you will live. My favorite car is mustang gt500 new one. Corvette, pagani zonda r, Mclaren F1, ferrari f50 and ferrari 599. Why? Sound good looking and handling. And i can go really fast on tracks. But i am not rich so. I know what you think about cars they don't do alot of mileage. but at 60 years our millage car does not matter.

i had a 2003 element in florida and i miss her. the one thing that was annoying is that if you drive at florida speeds on i-4, the wind resistance of the element is like pulling a kite through a storm. the luggage rack bars whistle also. LOL. regardless it is a great vehicle. Scotty you have to use caution with spraying water in there though, there are no drain holes or ports. God knows I searched for them. You'll end up with a rust or electrical problem if you're not careful. Dust pan and fox tail works good.

I have 2006 Honda element had since new, and its very reliable, I m surprised Scotty said hose out the interior when I gets dirty please don t do that if you have a Honda Element, or any car, I also have a 2014 Ford Mustang funny when they in the garage side-by-side the mustang is so much bigger on the outside and smaller on the inside than the element, totally opposite vehicles but love them both

My mom has the '08. 350k miles on it. Still drives it at least three times a week. Minus a little rust and normal maintenance, no issues. Tons of room inside. I've used it while moving multiple times. It will surprise you just how much you can get in it, especially once you hook the seats to the ceiling. I may have to get one for 2021.

Honda really does it best. My mom just got a 2019 Honda Fit and it s a small car but it has tons of space in the inside and has great acceleration. Honda is the best hands down. I have a Honda four wheeler and it s over 15 years old and runs like I got it yesterday it sits outside almost all year in all weather and I ve had no problems with it

I work in the facility that designs and manufacturers the entire drive train in those freightliner semi s. Let me tell you that our engines are a BEAST! We also make the trans and front axles and the final drive axles. The attention to detail and focus on quality is so intense it would make your head spin. You should come in for a tour.

Hey Scotty, love your show, and I ve always worked on my own cars. To what do you blame the sketchy quality of newer cars? Bean counters, engineers, or computer geeks? Better made cars from the 80 s and 90 s could last for hundreds of thousands of miles. Couldn t they just make essentially the same cars with better materials?
