You get hit by an suv or truck in an mk1 mx5 and you are far more likely to be badly injured or killed than if you were in virtually any car fitted with a full array of airbags.

When youre talking ultra luxury items, all considerations of the average person are moot. Its irrelevant how much fuel it burns, what insurance will be, how long parts last, etc. utterly irrelevant. Thats like talking about the durability and resale of a 75000 one-off valentino dress made to be worn one time at some event. people who buy these things do not think in the same terms as the common car buyer or person looking for that dress

It costs 50k to do tire change on McLaren F1. 10x more than Ferraris or Lambos. They have to balance the tire under track condition, and readjust suspensions to match the new tires. So 50k includes: 5k for each tire. 10k for flying 2 engineers from UK. 5k for renting a race track. 10k for transporting car to and from the rack track and insurance. Again, all this effort to do. what?

Hey scotty, i have a 1997 Mercedes-Benz c230 w202 and when I start the car my abs light is always on and the gauges in the cluster sometimes dont work but sometimes will, I read up on it a little bit and somone said it could be a wheel sensor issue but I kinda wanna hear what you think about it before I pull all the wheels off and replace all the sensors, thanks.

Scotty what do you think about a 2001 Nissan Xterra 4x4 with the 3. 3L v6 (VG33E) and a 5 speed manual? Just picked one up with 91, 000 miles on it with all maintenance records including recent timing belt and clutch replacements. Will this be a solid vehicle? How do they hold up to highway commutes (I drive 40 miles all highway to work everyday one way.

Scotty, I just bought a new Tesla Model 3 and love it. Tesla has stated the motor in this car is rated at 1 million miles after testing several of them and that they will be using the same motors in their semi trucks. They say it has to do with the motor using some sort of magnet technology. What do you think of all of this?

Hey Scotty. I am the original owner of a 1988 Honda Civic hatchback that I have passed down to my son. He wants to have a solid car for school and wants to spiff up the engine. I can either get a bigger, peppier motor and try to swap it out for the current smaller motor or I can rebuild the current motor. Which do you suggest?

Scotty do a vid on the Honda 4WS that was quipped with the old top line Preludes if i remember. I had an old Lude. 2. 2Vtec had 4WS i found it made the car extremely responsive. i Just wondered why it never went minastream? Not a petrol head here, but you ended up on my recommended and glad i checked in. Subd; -)
