I Told You About This Vehicle But Nobody Listened #2 Dale: You mean like Toyota did a few years ago when they had to recall their cars because of floor mats and gas pedal would stick. Or Toyotas with airbag issues. Or Toyotas on older Tacoma's for frame rot. Yes car companies have recalls but it's funny you never mention Toyota who has as many if not more serious ones then other car companies. As always way to go Scotty bright as always.

I swapped my old 94 Mustang from Auto to Manual when the trans went out. Bought a full kit that came with everything needed to convert for about 1700 and got it done in about 4 to 6 hours. But on the Mustangs everything was already made into the car to have either type of transmission so it was a pretty straightforward and easy swap to do. Basically just bolting everything in and swapping the computer.

Speaking of high mileage Hondas, I have a 2004 RSX base, 2. 0L vtec and 5-speed manual, with almost 200, 000 miles. I ve had it for a few months so far and am still amazed at how clean and mechanically sound it is, especially for a 16-year old car in the Midwest. I m a young aspiring mechanic and I ve been treating this vehicle well. Reckon I can get it to 300, 000, 400, 000, even 500, 000?

Scotty Kilmer 1st Thank you for the great information you provide for those of us that are clueless about cars! 2nd because I respect your knowledge, what is your take on the Chevy Aveo 2008 sadan? I ask because I'm thinking about buying one. I will have a qualified mechanic check it out before I buy.

I remember my dad bringing home a used Chrysler. think it was late 50's but it had big high wing tail lights and the left tail light rolled out to fill it with gas. Also had push button automatic transmission on the dash. Now they can't do floor mats? No, we couldn't afford the Chrysler.

voswagen makes great engines ohmg. voswagen gasoline engine is full of faults and timing chain issues all times. with replacement every 190 000km, nah thats not very good engine even if it makes it to the 190 000km trouble freee. .god luck with that.

Toyota had the exact same issue with floor mats. If you look at both both Toyotas and Lexus' you with see that the front mats have four plastic screw down tabs on each corner in order to hold the floor mats firmly in place. It's an easy fix.

Scotty, With all the high pressure systems on vehicles today, you should warn people about injection injuries. Never use your hand to locate a leak on any high pressure systems. Look up injection injuries, and you will know why.
