Honda and GM Have Merged (The End of Honda Reliability) Felipe: GM has a really crappy Midas touch, everything they touch starts going bad. Or at least until they are sold to another company.
Opel, Chrysler, Suzuki, Daewoo, their alliances in other markets.

Back in the 1970's, the American auto executives invested in Japanese companies so the Japanese could buy technology from the American companies, so the Americans had more money to invest in the Japanese. You can't tell where one of these companies begin and the other one ends. Honda did not go from making a chain driven PoS to making a whole line of world class cars in just ten years having to come up with their own technology.
The only cars I've bought and held up, past ten years have been GM products. I've never understood this love for Toyota and Honda. I just know that the most minor repairs on the latter two makes are unnecessarily long and tedious affairs.

Companies involved in electric car development haven't paid attention to the economy and income demographics of the public. Thanks to banksters and manipulation of inflationary numbers, wages have not exceeded the rate of inflation since 1973. Electricity rates have increased 17% this year.
So, with young people owing a small fortune to colleges brainwashing them and selling degrees that have no ready job market, who do they think is their market? The Chinese?

Hey man not cool. I'm a sub I love the help you provide and I have gm models and chevys even a 79 camero. A nice 08 ltz impala 3. 9 with over 214k: ) and we love the 97 Honda accord special edition model. 2. 2 easy to modify great on gas. All the 4 speed autos we have several so maybe the future will tell a different story but we have been married 12 years now and have never had any of our gm engines or Hondas in a shop ever.

not everyone wants a piece of crap toyota. with over 50 years of mechanic experience you think you would reveal the ultimate and only real truth of all mechanical machines. every car is a perpetually aging machine that requires constant maintenance to keep in perfect working order. toyota is as much a piece of crap as a kia, and as a corvette, and a rolls royce. they all break.

8: 30 - Those BMWs have no range. They're not useful for anything other than driving to a location, running some equipment, then driving back to recharge. Teslas have capacity and range - and not coincidentally, they also have better resale values. Up here in Vancouver BC, Canada, a Tesla with 30k km on it is only about 10-15% cheaper than a brand new one.

I don't know what to think anymore. We need to go back to the good old days, where Japanese cars were strictly made in Japan, American cars were strictly made in the U. S, etc. All of this merging and overseas production at different factories is screwing up the quality control.

Of course the government mismanages (your) money.
Do you know what would happen to you if you mismanaged government money (purposefully screwing with tax reporting or falsifying other documentation.
Rules for thee, not for me.

gm spent over 60 billion on the chevy volt. Maybe Honda wants some of that battery tech in its cars.
No problem for us Scotty fans anyways, there is no shortage of used Toyota, lexus and hondas anyway.
