If You re Not Using This Type of Fuel You re Stupid Mark: I wonder if the new Bronco will get better gas mileage than the last one's did. When I was in high school, we borrowed a Bronco from a family member to take a trip from Lufkin to Galveston. My dad still complains about how much gas that thing sucked down lol

My son owned a 2010 Kia Soul he put 240, 000 miles in 5 years on it with no issues, he did highway driving and he didn't drive the car hard. He performed all the oil changes at or before 5000 miles using full syn oil and a good filter. (I use Napa Gold or platinum filters, maybe Scotty will do a show on oil filters, stay away from Fram)Back to the Soul, the only serious issue I see with that vehicle is it has a very weak front bumper, especially at the corners of the bumpers, no protection. He had a slight bump to that front bumper, 15 mph or less, it destroyed the bumper, the radiator, fortunately, the AC condenser was bent but not leaking. I'm just telling his experience, your driving habits may be different. I believe that over the road driving made the difference for the longevity of that Soul.

Most vehicles have different spark timing maps, one for low octane fuel and one for high octane fuels. Octane is a rating for the resistance to detonation. 87 octane fuel has to have less timing or spark knock can destroy your engine. 93 octane needs more timing because it actually burns slower but will produce more power and more efficiency.

I have been test driving new cars and the only ones I like are the Toyota Corolla and the Hyundai Elantra. I'm Waiting for dealer finance specials to buy. Which would you recommend? Btw I had a new 1979 Celica which was the best car I ever owned, I still miss my baby.

Umm. you can't kick out a windshield unless it was installed incorrectly. All you'll do is stick a hole through it and cut up your leg. If you've seen the car chase in Pineapple Express when he tries to kick out the windshield cause he can't see. this is spot on.

HI SCOTTY, went to Sears to buy a new car battery. They did not have a battery saver to store the memory of the car but they let the car idle while they changed the battery. Was that a safe thing to do or would it hurt my car?

Why would you buy a Volvo s60 as a fun toy? They're not fun. Its a good, comfortable sedan but not very fast or sporty and they also have a 200 kmh speed limiter(which can be chipped out) but there are so much better alternatives.

Hey Scotty, Kia is in a class action lawsuit. They are repaying all customers for previous towing payments and repair costs involving the engine as well as giving a lifetime warranty for the Kia optima nd sorento.
