He mihi atu ki te whanau o nga kau (Moooo)
It is 6. 55pm in my country (NZ) - I have been watching this trip for only 10 minutes. I am now peaceful and calm. Thanks to this vid. My feet were in pain all day (have an injury but had to drive staff on a 12 seater Ford Transit. - Then returned back to office - Late afternoon traffic began to build up. Few Idiot drivers. Then unfortunately - transferring to my own vehicle to drive home (SUV) traffic slow, drudgery. more idiots and risk taker drivers. By the time I reached home, I was in pain, frustrated and angry.
This video is the treat - Watching on a large screen 50, Being able to sit alone, and travel through the dramatically walled cliff faces and feel the isolation, I get lost on the line, and forget about the pain.
Thank you: )

Hi, HinduCowGirl,
had a question regarding the houses. In the very first seconds, I see the houses have air intakes under the windows. Am I right?
What do they serve for? And by the way, do windows have condensing water issue, and if so, how's it solved? In Sweden, I saw quite old windows already having blinds between the glasses, for bright summer nights. Is it used in Norway?
In ex USSR houses were equipped with cupboards under the windows in kitchens, which used outside cold air as a natural freezer, and they have exactly the same inlets outside.

Dear HolyCowGirl: I see what you mean about Norway's rail system -- there are the Storting, plus two different Parliamentary committees, two ministries, (Trade and Transport, a Railway Inspectorate, BaneNor for trackage, a National Rail Administration, someone handles rolling stock, CargoNet, Flytoget and NSB for operations -- and they want to privatize this mess? I thought smaller nations were less prone to goofiness, but I was wrong.

HCG, Thank you again for this stunning video. Questions: what is the general traveling speed of this particular video, can you share the date it was recorded and the start time/end time? I am amazed at the depth of the snow still on the ground in what I am assuming was April. How long does your snow typically stay, and are you affected by flash flooding conditions with the melts?

Astounding videography and scenery, including at 12: 18, as OWL stated. I am sure the engineering is sound and proven, but it is still SCARY! Really nice work. Even mo' better viewed in 4K on a 4K monitor. Thank You HCG, for taking us with You!

She did it again! One question: where your train shifts from the left side of the canyon to the right is that a natural formation, perhaps modified or was it man-made? No doubt with culverts or such below for the river,

Very nice video! I think it was the first one with the sun shining like this. And, by the way, I thought that the 4K would not make much difference, but I was wrong, the details are way more visible.
