Dear Miss H. Cowgirl. I urge you to note and relate about your train, your country, these trips. Please include your reflections, revelations, and much more. The world awaits with rapt interest. What do you feel like when you zip through those long tunnels. What people and adventure have you met. Take many notes and eventually find your way into journals and a book or two. Trains have been the core for many fascinating stories. I'm sure I could find a publisher for you. I bet you have much drama and fun to relate. :-) Randomotion in Philadelphia

Thank you for posting another super train video! As always, the scenery is spectacular! I do have a couple of questions if you don't mind: How long have you been a train driver? At 2: 25 there is a track to the right that appears to go into town. Since I have never seen a video of passenger trains on this track, is it fair to assume that this is an industrial spur for freight only? Thank you.

Sorry about the silliness. I wonder if there are instruments on your panel which indicate safe speeds in various turns or is that regulated via track signs? I can see that the rails are not always level. The outer track is elevated above the inner track. Seems to me like a device in the cab might offer some suggestions to the operator of the train. Safe turn speeds?

Cool video! At the start, I thought I would not see snow, Then, suddenly, there is snow everywhere. Coming back to the honk signs, I noticed, at 40: 01, a blank signal (no horizontal or vertical stripes. What does it mean? Because there was no level crossing or station (as the missing respective stripes suggest.

Another superb video HCG, many thanks. The voltage in the overheads - is it 25kv like ours over here? And, being rather cheeky, are there any more drivers that you know of that do cab ride videos (on other lines? I'm aware of NRK's videos from Trondheim to Bodo, but wondered if there are any more?

The local train. It seems like is quicker at starting than the long hall. On a straight stretch how fast are you going? It looks like 70-80 MPH. I watched this on my 70 inch television last night and just loved it. Obviously it was such a nice day and clear.

Great video. Hope there is more to come soon!
One question. Do they rotate you drivers around so that you don't get stuck on the regional or long distance trains or local trains for too long or do they have specific drivers for the different trips?

Very nice! The days are getting longer. 15 hours from sunrise to sunset: . When are the Flirt 75's going to become the mainstay for the commuter runs? I was hoping to see you drive one of those soon. Have a nice day tomorrow!

Also, when those very beautiful and aerodynamic trains, like the one parked right in front of your train when you are leaving Voss station? They are always parked somewhere in Voss and I've never seen one of them moving.

Great scenery. I note that in villages there are relatively few utility poles and lines. I assume you sensibly put utilities underground whenever possible. Might this be another bidirectional train?
