Wonderful and fascinating ride. Thanks HCG, for all your hard work. What i do not hear is the clicky-ti-clack of standard railroad in USA or India or even UK, due to a 1-2 inch gap kept between the ends of the tracks at the joints, that are held by HD plates and bolts and nuts. In Sweden and Norway, I have seen that they WELD those joints. I guess the heat-expansion is not a factor to be accommodated there, like in India. So the trains flow like MAg-Lev. This must be Norway.

At 34: 40, just before the tunnel, there is a raised platform and a small building. Could this be a request stop for the houses up above? Is that a staircase next to the small building that would lead to a path up to the houses?
And at 35: 32, there was a blank diamond sign just before a tunnel. You sounded your horn, then immediately entered a very long tunnel series. What was that horn warning? Surely not anyone on the other end of the tunnels at that distance?

These videos make my day! I live in Canada but visit Voss regularly as I have family there. I have been a passenger on every train in the area, looking out of the side windows. Great to see your view!
Would you be able to say something about track side markers? I know the kilometre and whistle/horn ones but others I do not know.
Have a great 2019 and and keep them coming!
Thanks from a happy member of your herd.

Secret spur question again! I know you made a video showing where the secret siding in the Finse tunnel goes - and we see that again in this video at 01: 04. However, I just noticed that there is another tunnel turnout further on, after Finse, and in a different tunnel and we see it in this video at 01: 16. What is that one for? Same thing?

Happy New Year! I usually watch in the late evening hours. I make sure it is well dark around me and in the room. I'm right in front of the 24 inch screen. It is as if I look out through a window into a special world. Thanks again for this wonderful video! Greeting from the Netherlands.

The train does not waste any time continuing on with the next driver. WHAT I want to see is YOU going inside that nice, warm Station Building to get a hot cup of choco or something! Greetings HCG on 020820! I love watching these snow trips over and over!

A serious point question this time, is it just my perception or the angle of the camera but the platforms of Norwegian railway stations seem to be very low to the ground certainly compared to the ones at railway stations here in the U. K.?

If I were an authority in Norway, I would transfer HCG to every other railroad in the country for her to film. In particular, I would like HCG to film the Trondheim x Bodo line. The filming done by NRK is already very old.

When I was a child, I saw these beautiful landscapes in calendars and thought that these places did not exist, that they were just a painting. When I grew up I discovered that these places really exist. Thanks HCG.

HCG, during the lasts few moments of this video, it appears that the train is moving away from the station without you. Betcha' that's the last time you left the keys in the locomotive, huh?
