Take a trip along Union Pacific's Sunset Route as we travel between Palm Springs, CA and Colton, CA traversing a small portion of the Sonoran Desert. We will visit a few different locations along the way and even catch a glimpse of the Amtrak Sunset Limited, Train 2, as it heads east through San Timoteo Canyon. Also included at the end are some video clips that were included in my Big Boy 4014 Headin' Home Tour video from West Colton Yard. No Narration Run Time: 21 minutes

I live around the area and we get many trains coming by. Mostly CSX and union pacific. The trainline running in the desert sits right beside the I-10
