Since wmsr 734 is now out of service awaiting a 1472 day inspection: if wmsr decides not to return to service, where would her next home be? Back to IRM? B&O railroad museum? If she does return to IRM, I'd love to see her do a trip with 1630 if the steam team decides to forgo work on her, but if she doesn't run there again she should at least be reunited with LS&I #35, her sister. OR if the cards are played right, if WMSR can't get her to the museum, then maybe IRM could bring the museum to her with 1630, a nice luxurious consist, and maybe the zephyr! But for now, let's just hope that such scenes seen here, can be created once more with the engine that traveled by truck from Chicago and highballed into infamy!

Great video, although this is not an -original- WM H-7 it looks convincing. The only -real- WM steam engine in existence (other than the huge shay) is a WM -Harriman- Pacific in Hagerstown, in a park. There was talk years ago of restoring it to operating condition. Does anyone know if that is still in the works, or has that idea died?

Nice winter scenes nice country side good long shots good to see from the back of the trains engine working hard plenty of smoke the caboose or guards van looks good nice sound effects ( good video) thanks

I've heard this with other steam locomotives, but specifically with WM 734. Does anyone know why there are four chuffs and then a pause? Is it something about the drivers being offset at odd angles?

The scene with the train entering the tunnel at the 6: 39 mark is absolutely magical! Nightmarish images and sounds if impending disaster to think of being trapped in the tunnel.
