Our 2018 New Years Resolutions - NO MORE PHONES - Jake & Nicole Happy New Years everyone! Jimmie: I'm so glad you guys brought up re-usable straws. There are quite a few people with sensitive teeth who otherwise wouldn't drink much, the other benefit of re-usable straws is that with any fruit juices or if you happen to (gasp) drink soda the straws will actually save your teeth by not letting the acidity constantly wash over them. Stainless steel are the best to use, but if you just can't find those in your area the double thick bendable straws made out of heavy duty plastic last a minimum of 2 years, and because they're a heavy duty plastic not a light plastic (like plastic bags) they're 100% recyclable. If you want to go green with disposable straws instead of plastic ones you can always opt for wax coated paper straws they're completely biodegradeable. Just some food for thought especially for those who have sensitive teeth or regularly drink acidic beverages and are concerned about protecting their teeth.

Woop! Glad to see you take on the challenge Nicole. My advice, don't take it lightly, like it's going to be easy, because it won't, and by knowing that you will persevere and will be successful. 2) Measure the fat intake, and I mean it. For men the max (in calories, not portion lol) it's 10%, for women, 15%, or up to 20% when pregnant. Eating higher fat than that is bound to create cravings 3) You absolutely must read the book 801010 Diet by Dr. Doug Graham. The best way is to get the audio book and keep listening to it over and over again as you're doing your chores/workouts. Prepare to see miracles: . It's orange and persimmon season so the best recipe is to eat persimmons and oranges until you can't anymore: )

Oh yeah, and my resolutions are Solid Food Vacation (John Rose's program, slightly modified with some juicy fruits allowed, because I'll probably do 3, 90 day solid food vacations this year. It's going to be a year of rebuilding, and completely healing past traumas (any that's left) and re-programming my mind. 2) Going to start my GARDEN. I'm going to plant mulberry, morina, fig, and pomagranite trees in my front yard. 3) Going to get my business going and become financially very abundant/rich. 4) Going to visit Hawaii at the end of the year.

Love your resolutions. My resolution is to eat healthy and stay away from processed foods. Oreos are my addiction so I-m eliminating them altogether. I also want to create a vision board. And I want to write one handwritten letter to someone I care about each month. I would love to see you guys go to a rock climbing wall.

Turn the wifi off every night. John Koehler is right. None of that EMF is good for you. I think the phone downstairs left -on- is not really enough. It is easy to have those devices off and easy to switch off wifi. You can check it in the morning and load all of it. You will sleep SO much better believe me.

Raw food is often processed: it is a matter of words-dehydrated and recombined, and blended. You can think of it as a -whole- food diet-eating closer to the way the earth produces the nourishment. I would like to see Nicole give shout outs to the amazing vegans doing amazing raw vegan food and cooking!

Guys should get pedicures and couples time having pedicures is much more common than you think. You get massages-chair massages, can be on your phones, chat together, and have a total mutual chill out sesh.

Buy stainless steel straws for your smoothies. Carry your own cutlery. Carry a stainless steel water bottle. Bring shopping bags. Straws are necessary for many people for many reasons.

Hell yeah! No electronics (except the light) in the bedroom improved my sleep quality big time.
