How do you get a child to swim when shes scared of the water? This weeks Op-Doc is Guille Isa and Angello Faccinis entrancing short, Dulce. The film, which takes place in a small village among the mangrove swamps of Colombias Pacific coast, tells the story of a mother patiently challenging her young daughter to face her fears.

I feel sad that I live in a world that a thing of beauty like this will get maybe 50k-100k views while a upload by some basement dweller ranting about SJWs behind an avatar will get a million+ views: (

When she asks her mom if she's mad at her and she tells her she will be her daughter whether she swims or not. then she really pushes herself for her mother

This was so moving in so many ways; it told so many stories in its short ten minutes. I hope the best for that beautiful family and the entire village.

To western standards, shed be called child protective services on and have her child removed put into fostercare for her never to be seen again lol

You want to stay here all alone? Well, that's your problem: ) I'm a bit surprised that they don't teach them younger; it's easier.
