YES! this is AGAIN, really good.
Well, the thing is that now, YouTubers can have bigger audiences than traditional celebrities (except for the BIG names from music or movies. Everybody else, is on the verge of being an influencer. or worst. Just think about shows like Atypical. One of the MILLIONS Netflix creates every year. It's got BIG talent, but if they told me that the sister is a YouTuber, or an Instagram icon, i would believe it. On the other hand, Liza Koshy interviewed the freaking Barack Obama, that's Kardashian territory, and Liza, she was just a YouTuber (now she has a YouTube Originals show, so she got big.
The thing is, everyday new small celebrities get big (hello Shawn Mendez/Justin Bieber) and big celebrities get small (can you believe Sir Anthony Hopkins is in a TV show now)

Tbf this isn't new, similar services have been around for years. Personally I think it's creepy af, and I don't get why celebrities would do it, well except maybe out of work celebrities?
But yeah social media is a tool that can let people control other people. Just take some comments out of context and fuel the outrage. Not to say there aren't legitimate concerns but it is also used in cruel ways.

Cameo is actually pretty cool. Im fairly indifferent when it comes to celebrities but still see the appeal. Surprised that there are so many people willing to partake - a little sad - and for so little.
