An interesting and far more widespread tangent of this is how publically and well-documented childhood in general is nowadays. All the baby and toddler photos, embarrassing stories and parental vents are shared right up to the point where the kids are (increasingly early) old enough to start using social media on their own, then they start doing the work themselves. I know I sound a bit Luddite, but the internet never forgets. Whats adulthood going to be like when every childhood mistake is searchable? I joined Facebook going into 11th grade and I still cringe whenever I see a post from back then. We might not miss forgetfulness till its gone.

Amanda, just a suggestion. Don't use your own pics on the thumbnail. Use the New York times logo and the subject (in this case, the baby. You will draw many more audiences then. This is because no one knows who you are right now. So there's no incentive to click, and you are just wasting a large area of the thumbnail, which could be used a little more wisely. I love your content and I want more people to discover you. So I hope you take this in good spirit. Lots of love. :)

this show is way ahead of the time. good balance of humour and serious subject matter. please continue the good work. the addictiveness of once innocent friends chat that has turned into multi million money beast that wants me to stay on Facebook and Im too ashamed to brake these relationships. so Im spending my time managing on platform.

Seriously, content producers on YouTube should unionize and then maybe the kids could strike. I mean, they're the meat in the content sandwich their parents are making, ( and presumably getting paid for) so someone needs to look out for their financial interests. SAG? AFTRA? I'm looking at you.
Good video though.

Fantastic work! Point made. We should NOT escalate things like this. Charlie bit my finger was adorable but do they have a choice about their facial and voice recognition? No they don't. They have no way of knowing how this will affect their privacy in a future so horribly uncertain.

There's a serious issue with the exploitation of children for content that you took on pretty well, if not for the fact that you should include the videos related to the SevenAwesomeKids brand. Something truly shady is going on there.

I like watching toddlers freak out over their shadows- I remember when my son discovered his shadow, lol oh the range of emotions! Suspicion, annoyance, terror and finally glee. he was the same when he met his little sister too lol

INTERNETTING is an NYT sponsored vlog analog of the show Girls, except that it's more vapid and a waste of increasingly scare journalistic resources. This shyte can't go away fast enough.
