Ok obviously this fake beard guy is being a ridiculous troll, But dont just dismiss the actual anti-natalism arguments. Im not convinced that we all should STOP reproducing. but taking some time considering the arguments for it being immoral can develop and strengthen your own moral reasoning and understanding of the responsibility of creating a new person, and especially in a rapidly overcrowding world. On a practical level, it does make sense for people to be discouraging people from having more and more babies when we cant even support the population we have already. People in poverty-stricken countries make the most new people, but then even an only-child of an affluent couple in America will use far more resources than a whole family of 13 in India. For myself, I would just try not to procreate more than one new person, and any additional children Id prefer to adopt. Would be happy to only adopt if my partner would want to as well.

the entire comment section on the topic of not having kids seems like they all came from bad households, not nessicarly saying that their opinion is wrong, but saying having kids is selfish is imo a very horrible and disturbing way to look at parenting and family. having a kid (giving the right reasons a normal person would want a child) is the most SELFLESS thing anyone can do, becuase you give up alot of stuff you do for yourself becuase its not just about you or your spouse, its about the family you have created. watching the kid say its first words, teaching it what you can and watching it fail and succeed in figureing its own way even if the world can be cruel, it can equally be just as rewarding, as is parenting can be the most amazing experience of selfless love anyone can have. but having kids is like college, its not for everyone and some people really shouldnt but the right people should and it can be quite the experience

I have to agree with him. Having children is a selfish act. No one ever says Well for the good of my children and because they will be so thankful in the future I will have them. And arguing against that is just trying to make themselves feel good about their decision. There are many people out there who have children and are terrible parents, and they end up raising miserable children. Very few people actually take into account the REAL consequences of maki g a person. Most people just think about financial stability and how it will effect their own lifestyle. They put almost no thought into the reality that your children are going to be effected by everything you say and do to them, and everything they are exposed to in the world, and it's selfish audacity to assume that your kids should be grateful that you created them. Although this guy is probably just some pampered rich kid who's looking for attention.

What was briefly mentioned about the anti-natalism movement is interesting, to say the least. If I was asked to explain it, I would assume the point is a premeditated, slow extinction of humans in order to put pressure on the current population to address global problems rather than to raise new generations to solve the problems instead. There are many, many people who believe having children is selfish (I think that may have more to do with protecting the environment) but the amoral argument feels like a stretch. I'm very, VERY curious to know where else in the world this movement is gaining speed, or if it's in India specifically and why. About Jeff Bezos. Exposing everything on both sides to avoid being blackmailed. gets a slow nod, from me. I remember being a kid and someone told me that being blackmailed is much worse than just owning up to what you did, and I've always remembered that.

Probably not going to be read, but I am hoping that I can add some understanding. While I don't understand the way this is being presented by this guy, the overpopulation of humans in India is a problem, especially for girls. There are poor families who end up killing their kids because they are too poor to care for them. This is not even an isolated issue in India. While I am for people having babies if they can take care of them, there are too many people who have kids and they end up being put up for adoption or abused because people don't know what it is to have to care for a child or simply they can't afford to. It can be a real struggle for some who don't gave the income or resources. While I don't think we should all stop having children, I definitely think we need to educate the public more about human lives, especially when it's the life of an innocent child.

Think about Time as in you only live so long 100 years maybe? Well imagine if you saved, or taught someone something. The bird you saved had birdies, those birdies grow up and have their own. That is a case of time adding up, you influenced probably many Years of life over one simple decision. Also if you teach someone something they may teach it to their sons and their sons sons, That means you have an influence through several generations of people. Then going by that if you see all that time you bring into life for others, that means you aren't just 100 - whatever years old of influence. You can live on through what you have done even though you have been forgotten. Not being aware of what your decisions do doesn't change the fact of what they did. You can even plug in Butterfly effect if you really wanted. Just something I thought up when I had Philosophical crises.

I mean, in a way I do understand where the guy is coming from, he's just obviously taken the point WAY too far. In most cases, parents don't choose to have children only for the sake of that future child. They choose to have a child because they want to. That is their desire, whether it be so that they can be fulfilled through raising and nurturing another life, carry on their family name or morals, or whatever their reasons are. And I don't like this term, but it is technically by definition a selfish choice, a choice made with mainly themselves and their desires in mind. But that isn't to say that they're wrong for wanting that or making that choice, or that they outright shouldn't have kids. It's just a point that it is a decision that they make with themselves in mind over all else.

Can I ask, Is TING effectively simply Pay-As-You-Go? Just the American version? Or do you guys not have PAYG? Just in case people don't know what it is - You pay 20 [currency] for your credit, and the credit is spent as you use it, like I only use it when I am actually IN a signal area and not using wifi, so if I'm using Messenger or make a phone call that'll use up credit a little bit at a time. I've used mine to play Pokemon GO every few months and it still lasts me two years until I get to like 2 [currency] and refill it. Let me know if I'm not making sense. (Before people ask, it lasts about two years because I rarely use the signal/credit side of my phone due to living in the middle of nowhere and rarely getting out of the house)

What I don't get is how advertisers aren't seeing what is happening The younger generations are shifting to other ventures of entertainment whether it be Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc. How has the power not shifted in YouTube's favor? Whether the advertisers like the content or not, this is where entertainment is being consumed. So I understand maybe requesting to avoid certain YouTubers or something if they have a history of going against guidelines, but advertisers are missing out. So for the Rewind, they should have shinned a light on like the up-and-coming people, but not ignore the top names. I don't know how they thought that what they made was the way to go.
