I do agree that explicit consent should be an absolute requirement, no exceptions. However, as part of your reproductive organs, if you signed a donor card and consented to organ donation for medical use, that should count. This story sort of reminds me of my first year of studies in health care when I learned that anyone can consent to being an organ donor and theres no legal minimum age (at least where I live in Canada, however in the event of a death of a minor who has consented, the final decision is ultimately left to the legal guardians. Meaning youre only dying wish could be to save others by donating your organs, and your parents can still veto that out of pure selfishness. My prof and I had a lengthy discussion that day after class about ethics/morality, bodily autonomy and how far that extends, etc. Its no easy issue to tackle, thats for sure.

So essentially everything happening in India is a carbon copy of whats happening in this once great country. The right chrisitans taking to the polls to vote for right christian politicians to rewrite everything ever put into law and make it a christian nation with christian laws that have christian penalties (for instance life in prison) for anything christians view as anti-christianity. Good on India for making their country a religious based law making government, that always works for everyone, including those who have differing views on religion or follow a different religion all together. Nothing like oppression to make everyone truly feel like they belong. Land of the free, home of the religious laws that strangle the very fabric of a country.

If BJP was a Hindu party then how they made 3 talak ban. They talked to UAE and increased number of Muslims going to Mecca every year. Also BJP provided proper school to Muslims for their religion studies. There were no major riots between any cast during his period. there was not a single corruption news. Modi increased the pension for the armed forces officers to nearly double. He also in improved our defence weapons our country is getting rafale jet. Bullet proof jackets to soldiers. also we successfully put Masood Azhar under global terrorist. What more do you want. Each country knows the capability of Modi ji. So just do your research before judging anyone

All of these countries, many of them very influential on a global scale, are choosing nationalist leaders who advocate, or at least allow indirectly for the persecution of minorities. Additionally, some of them are simultaneously war mongering far more than they used to. I refuse to believe that this is just the pendulum of war and reckonings swinging back. We are better than this. Well. most of us at least. Ok maybe like half. either way, I look to the future with increasing levels of unease when I hear of things such as what's happening in India. or anything that involves Trump.

With a grandkid that's already born, and needs someone to take over their care, it makes sense. When there was a partner that was expecting to have a future with the deceased, and raise a family, it makes sense. With this, they're intentionally raising a child when they're grandparent age, and it's a bit creepy that they're planning to bring their own grandchild into the world, confusing their role in the kid's life. Are they grandparents, or parents? Both? Well, that's uncomfortable. I don't even think the guy was likely to object, but it still feels cringey at the very least.

Poorly researched video on India, please be free bias against India. Almost all foreign media show India in a bad light. It seems like they want India to fail. Basing your news of Reuters, the Scroll, and Aljazeera shows that you have not gone deeper into the subject that is India. The Indian branches are all exclusively run by stauch leftists, that are against anything that PM Modi does. Regarding unemployment that it was at a 45 year low and crimes against minorities has been busted by the Indian media as fake news. You could have refered their articles instead.

The sperm case is really wired and saddening. I think part of the son's desire to have several children is to be a father and experience fatherhood. I do think the parents took the part of ' having several children' and 'continue family legacy' to a literal meaning, not realizing that this child will not experience the warmth of its father nor mother. Also, what if the child is born a daughter, who cannot continue the family name? Its inarguable that she will be loved nevertheless, but she will fall of a high pedestal she never chose to be put on.

In regards to the post-death sperm collecting. why does it matter? The dead can't consent, they don't need consent. If a guy dies and his spouse gets pregnant with collected sperm, it doesn't matter if he consented or not, he's not losing anything for his DNA being used in someone being born. He doesn't have to raise a kid, he doesn't have to pay child support. I feel the same about organ donation. You don't need them, you don't lose anything. In either case, you're not suffering or paying any costs for this. The dead don't need consent rights.
