WOW NikkieTutorials Shocking BLACKMAIL, Gus Johnson, Kobe Bryant Washington Post Tweet Backlash. Nyarako-chan: My thoughts on, The Nikki Story: It certainly isn't the public's place to punish the blackmailer, but the victim should still take legal action against them. Actions MUST have consequences. The Shooter Appeal Story: You know who didn't get to appeal their death sentences? The innocent people that monster murdered in cold blood. Mentally unfit or not, no sympathy from me. Cover him in hot sauce and throw him to a pack of hungry lions. The Kobe/Twitter Story: All she did was tell the truth about an established fact of the man's past, just because that truth makes you angry or uncomfortable doesn't make it any less true. Kobe should absolutely be remembered for his sports skill, his good works, and his great fatherhood, but he should also be remembered for the things he did wrong. Human's aren't one dimensional, we have layers and some of those layers are can be rotten. Does that make us bad people? No. What does make you a bad person, is denying uncomfortable truths and threatening the lives, safety, and security of those who voice those truths simply because you don't want to hear them.

Honestly, it may have been unintentional but Nicki's situations definitely rubs off as premeditated. I mean, it's really convient that she came out under the pretense of being blackmailed. I'm sure a lot of people could make an educated guess that she was trans so I would assume if it wasn't blackmail, it wouldn't have blown up as much. People make a big deal about this stuff now, not that you shouldn't when years ago you were basically lynched for not fitting the mold. I just have that gut feeling after watching her video. You know how when people kinda put on a face in front of the public eye, it doesn't feel real. Either way, good for her, I just hope she is doing it in an honest way. I know friends that have struggled with coming out. I even have a friend right now that is undergoing a shitty situation where they moved far way to be with someone, only to find out that person didn't even come out. So they have to date secretly which is not what my friend wanted and their significant other refuses to come out. Such a shame: (

She should have waited to post the story. Plain and simple. Some might say that it's common sense. A BELOVED hero to many tragically dies along with his daughter and other parents and their children and the FIRST thing you want to do is dredge up the past. People like this reporter are arrogant and extremely self absorbed to say the least. Multiple families are right now, at this very moment, grieving and are in pain. We as the public ALREADY KNOW the story of what allegedly happened years ago. We remember the headlines. This is not the time to be a complete heartless asshole. I wish some people would just stop and THINK before they post. It's honestly the same as if this reporter and others like her just decided to walk up to his widow and little girls and say I'm sorry your daddy's dead but he was a possible rapist so, yeah. Total asinine if you ask me. As a victim myself I would NEVER do that to someone's family. But then again I have heart.

I think Nikki's response is exactly what we need more of in this world. She isn't being vicious or vengeful, though she has every right to be. She says in the video that she's going to let karma do it's thing and that she's creating her own level. We've seen before that in every group on the internet there are zealots who take it too far, and more and more people don't understand boundaries or what is appropriate. We've also seen that people who are exposed, righteously or not, are not the only ones to be affected, and Nikki knows this. In this new kind of world, the responsible thing is to let the proper authorities take control. Nikki is showing a grace and nobility that this man does not deserve, but that's the nature of mercy, isn't it? She's being responsible with the power she has because she knows it can easily incite a mob.

At the end of the day: I agree with her last tweet on having direct communication with the head editor. And I think that there shouldve been (should be) an understood protocol/preparedness when posting things that are bound to spark death threats, where The Post auto provides those safety measures. Or doesnt but is made crystal clear from the get-go. Her decision to post the story is a matter of taste. Personally, Im not a fan of it and I dont think not acknowledging it at this time means Kobe didnt do it and/or what he did was okay. The New Yorker had a post on Kobe too and I think they handled it well for having acknowledged his past. But maybe the issue here is that Felicias seemed to be tweet-based. which has to be handled differently. I dont know, Gnight.

He very well could have schizophrenia. my brother does & hes doesnt acknowledge that he has a problem. Its heartbreaking & I hate it, you have no idea how frustrating it is to stay by his side consistently because hes family & has nothing else. I even see similarities in that guy & my brother. they are highly susceptible to brainwashing & conspiracy theories. That being said, it does not mean that he would be unfit for trial in any way he may have been horrible at representing himself, Im sure that he was, but what he did is inexcusable & he deserves to be locked away for life. Not executed, though, because the state & federal government both should never have the power to kill. But he should be locked away for life.

And this is the result of feeding cancel culture. You give people who have less impulse control than they do verifiable facts the power to ruin people's lives because they need something to entertain themselves for an afternoon. A company will always do what it has to in order to save itself from public scrutiny, even if it means throwing an innocent employee under the bus. All the assholes out there who fed into this kind of action so they could attack people they thought were guilty have created an environment where the people who are definitively innocent can be harassed by overzealous fans who don't want to admit their golden idol might just be fallible and capable of wrongdoing.

I think if anything, the reporter tweeted about Kobe far too soon. Kobe is a public figure, but he wasn't a politician or beholden to the public in that particular way. He seemed to admit his wrongdoing, which is something that should be admired, however it's pretty heartless to tweet about how he's a rapist when he literally just died with his daughter. May be true, but there's being a journalist, and then there's being an assh le. My dad was an alcoholic and had been emotionally abusive at times, but right after he died, I would not have been able to handle someone broadcasting the worst part of his life. Not impressed, tho I technically get her reasoning.

Felicia was wrong for tweeting the link. She tweeted it with malice in her heart as a victim she felt others needed to remember his discretion more than feel grief. She could have waited a day EASY. Why is it that we needed to see the TOTALITY of him before he even settled in the morgue? Who was that for exactly? She didnt trust that people who typed his name in a search engine would see that story? NOPE she appointed herself in charge of that. Trust me no one forgot what horrible thing he did but does that mistake means he or his family doesnt deserve grace? Or because of his crime he is beyond redemption?

So. Kobe was all ready to go to court to defend himself but the accuser didn't show up but he's being labeled by some as a rapist because one woman said so? I've never been raped but I have been molested and then intentionally flashed by one of my mom's now-exes, so I'm not trying to throw this woman under the bus but. this seems extremely unfair. You can't attach extremely damaging labels to someone if you don't have entire proof that it's true. Call him a cheater, sure, but rapist? I wish the man was alive to sue for libel. Maybe his wife will do so in his place.
