TLDR: the catholics did nothing wrong, please dont insult themIm not catholic myself (though I am Christian) but Phil attacked those bishops for telling their followers not to do something they saw as sinful. Thats there job. If they believe being gay is sinful then they have a duty to their followers to steer them away from that. And, though attacks on Catholic treatment of children are understandable, the way they are used in the video and the comment section both prevent Catholics from repairing their image. Theyre trying to care for children instead of harm them, but loads of people are attacking them for any interaction with children. How can they do their jobs if we expect them to ignore children or face jokes and insults about how theyll probably molest them? In conclusion, theyre just being bishops, theyve done nothing wrong or even abnormal, so they dont deserve to be insulted.

Talking about problems in Christianity, when will this be universally applied to other theologies that are actively killing people on mass that should be legitimately challenged in the same way you are challenging the Christians? I ask because there are real problems that need to be discussed not just main stream ones that are easy, well defined targets. Any time I see this criticism I wonder where it is for other beliefs systems that radicalise people into mass destruction. There is such an absence of conversation of voicing opinions on much more prevalent ideological problems because it is not the mainstream narrative and you seem to only tow that line anymore and I find it false, inconsistent and repulsive. There should be one law for all, one standard for all and true equality in accountability.

I welcome your unsubwell then phil you can just unsub to catholic things, like our culture. no need for you to remain here either then? or is that not the correct attitude to have when someone sends it to you in return? why is phil always filled with a self righteous tone in his voice whenever he talks about religion. i'm agnostic and still fairly young, but my entire life the only people i've found to be high and mighty on their own BS are atheists like phil. never had an issue with catholics. probably cause I don't go around trying to pretend murdering babies in the womb isn't murder, that one kind of makes it hard to get along with a people who value life you know.

This video has noticeably more personal commentary from you than usual - it's brilliant You have a great sense of humor and you should really use it in your videos more often It's so refreshing here that it makes this video stand out as far less cold and scripted than your other videos. Unfortunately I doubt this is reflected in your analytics, and you probably will never even see this comment about it, yet I still find it worth saying Keep injecting that beautiful personality of yours into your videos, good sir

Love is Love. If everyone within that love, loves that love, then they find themselves in the heart of God. If those outside of that heart cannot see that, they will never see the true face of the Lord. Those who FORCE their love on those who do not want it are preversing God. God doesn't make mistakes only chances to learn. May we learn how best to love each other.

I don't believe that being gay is a choice. I have seen plenty of evidence that it is genetic and or determined before we are born. However, I do believe that our actions and behaviors are choices. Anyway, as long as you're not hirting anyone, go love who you love.

Yes, ridiculing priests in this situation is helpful. Why? we put catholic priests in a position of power. they abuse this power and so we ridicule to convey the irony and danger of putting that much trust in a stranger who thinks they're a moral beacon of faith.

Phill, I been watching for a while. More than five years. I feel like news worthy stories are going away. I know people like drama so maybe shorten the time for those bs and focus more on news that are relevant to us. Please. We need more than just one.
