For a moment can we take a look at Chris face. Do you see fear or smug authoritarianism? There was joy behind his words and listen as he spoke he refused to identify himself as if he was reliving his fantasy of being law enforcement. He suffered from trauma from his childhood yet his first duty was not to protect his child yet everyone else inside the building. Then was the loaded you dont have to threaten me the moment he said that we all knew what he was doing trying to think of a quick crafty name for this guy but he failed on the spot. Yes I understand tailgating could lead to all sorts of horrible and unfortunate things but look at the timing it took for him to resort to the police. Its now a weapon ladies and gentlemen. They are not trained to deescalate issues as they once were instead to incite than indictment. Take a moment and view just how many people get arrested for resisting arrest with no charges for what they were resisting. Police is just a job and it encourages bonuses just as any other by simply making arrests and the blue wall of silence prevents anyone from speaking up about it.

The kid was MVP not wanting to see his dad taken way or hurt due to his mistakes. The two men at the beginning are right and wrong. Right: Both has a reason why they reacted and panic. One guy has personal experience and the building it self has history of brake in plus he got his kid with him. The other knows because of his color he'll most likey get in trouble or a possible accident with the law, so recording was the right choice to show edivents in case. Wrong: Despite the fact he has experience he did made the situation in a rush fashion. The other guy however did made a mistake and he is more at fault. Recording the situation is good, but he was waiting out side and his friend was not home. If he moved a way from the building and waited a bit he might avoid this or if he stay like he did and awnser the guy question by calling his friend on speaker. Doing so will put the end of all this. Both where right and wrong at the same time.

Subscription services being able to have exclusive shows is not competition. That's litterally a monopoly. It's not competition if you have to buy both. Imagine if McDonalds had the exclusive rights to Chicken Nuggets, and Burger King had the exclusive rights to hamburgers. That's basicaly what happens here. These services are not competing because people are not choosing them based on which one provides the better service. Customers instead only buy them based on what shows or movies they want. This does not encourage the kinds like Netflix to provide a better service in order to compete with the others. It also creates a monopoly where no new similar service can start up because no startup can afford to buy enough exclusives, thus only those backed by already giant companies can succeed now.

I lived in a gated community, and anyone catching the door would be questioned and asked to prove theyre visiting someone, and if they refuse, someone will call the cops. Otherwise what the hell is the point of having a gated community? And mind you Im an immigrant kid in the country of Adolf Hitler. I know racism. This is just disregarding rules and then playing the victim. If you bring up race where the issue has nothing to do with race, youre the racist. I do however know that police brutality is a different issue than in Europe, we dont randomly shoot people so I understand the dude was worried. But thats another issue that has to be addressed, its not the fathers job to worry about that in the first place, its his job to worry about his home and his family. Imho

I used to live in an apartment building (never again. I never EVER let stranger's enter the building unless they had been authorised or had a key. I have literally used physical force to stop strangers from tail-gating me into my apartment building, and I make zero apology for doing so. I even stopped a couple of beautiful young women who tried to tail-gate me into my apartment building. Seriously, people, this is BASIC security in an apartment building - do you WANT to be robbed? Philip DeFranco, I'm kinda disgusted at you for using the pleas of a man's child as persuasive evidence to push your allegation that his father is a racist. Why does it feel like Philip DeFranco is jumping onto the tabloid fake-rage band-wagon in recent weeks?

It's funny when I go visit my parents I've been outside the gate ready to call in when another resident arrives and asks me You visiting someone? to which I reply Yes, my parents in 13B and then they just let me in without any further questions even though it's technically against the rules. Maybe the guy should have just called his friend, but I can see why he'd be fed up with that type of shit, especially when he has probably seen people who look like me do exactly what he is doing and have people actively help rather than threaten to call the police. And I wonder why this of all recent videos is the one I didn't get recommended? the 3 previous videos and all videos after this one popped up but this one was mysteriously absent.

Lol cloud his view of others? You were entering a building that you do not live in prior to your friend arriving. You then became argumentative when a resident of that building questioned you about it. You then proceed to record this person because you felt unfairly targeted by a man who has never seen you before entering him and his familys place of residence. But because youre black, its obviously a racist issue, right? Yeah. lets play that card again. I dont care what color you are. I see you trying to walk into my building without a keycard and Ive never seen you before, Ill call the cops on your unfamiliar ass too. Theres too many crazy people out there to take any risks. Especially when it comes to your family. Get over yourself.

I bet if that was a white guy or a white female, he would not have said anything This reminds me of a time when I worked at a stadium and money was getting stolen. One of the top managers would try to frame or accuse the blacks who work there. All of the black people were primary suspects but it eventually came out that the white manager was stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars They let him go but yet and still, if something got stolen or was missing, the black people would still be racially profiled as prime suspects, even by the top execs who are white too. So I still say that the white guy more than likely was racially profiling because theft and violence is still something that only black men do in his mind.

I regularly go to a local 24-hour gym. I have my own key card. Sometimes I walk a bit slower if somebody is in front of me so that they don't feel compelled to let me in just because I'm behind them. It's more considerate to let the door close and then let myself in. Tailgating can be a serious problem. I'm with Chris on this one. He probably could have explained himself better, but oh well. The guy filming just wanted to be famous and go on CNN. Oh yeah, that's exactly what happened Playing the 'race card' only helps real racists out there. Chris may or may not be racist, so we should give him the benefit of the doubt of not being racist. That's what civilized people in a civilized society would do.
