-It's so sad that there's so much of society that has absolutely no respect for other ppl! I don't care if anyone has a disease, a disability or any difference than what's seen as normal. doesn't mean they're weird, not worthy, or not capable of doing anything they want to do, or that we all can! Too many ppl see so crazy ignorant to disabilities, or even simple diagnosis! It's sad bc that's how new generations learn, and exactly why ignorance and disrespect mostly exists btw humans! If you don't understand something, don't be ignorant. we have what's called internet, and a million options available to learn about everything! Mostly, ppl don't care to understand and that's terribly sad! Teach your kids to understand human compassion and why they can't understand others whether that means if there bullies, or if they are different for any reason! Bullies are usually mean bc they are hurting from someone mistreating them, so teach your kids to ignore it and have a heart to care that those children aren't as lucky! We live in a world that society is separating more and more from compassion for one another and we all need to acknowledge that and try harder! Doesn't matter if you feel your the only one that is attempting. be proud! -

Instead of telling people she's -just short-, she ought to just tell the truth - that she's a dwarf. These days, everyone has heard of dwarves with all those reality TV shows of little people and dwarves going out in the stores more. It shouldn't be a shock anymore.

as a kid i was raised to not be rude. i made sure i was cool to the special kids and treated them w dignity. it-s not a must to acknowledge someones disabilities. notice it and dont speak on it. it aint our business.

Pretending that someone is ur average teenager is a problem of its own, yes acceptance is the goal, but a normal human urge is to wanna help someone in that situation. So that isnt average. But its an empathic response.

I-m surprised that they haven-t gotten a booster seat for her wheelchair so that she can sit at a table that is lower than her chin at school as well as at home.

If you don't consider your self disabled then get out of that motorized chair and at least use a normal wheel chair
