A CANADIAN artist is transforming his look with extreme plastic surgeries and tattoos to fulfill his dream of becoming a gothic vampire. Philip Royer, 26, from Montreal, professionally goes by his creative name, London. He works as a tattoo, make-up, and performing artist. He-s had an -obsession with vampires- since childhood, finding their aesthetic -magnificent. - London told Truly: -If I had to describe my style, I would say gothic. - But he has focused many of his modifications on resembling the bloodsucking creatures, as -they-re immortal. London has over 70% of his body tattooed and wants to become fully covered in ink. He-s had facial reconstruction surgery on his jaw and plans to get more extreme procedures in the future. London doesn-t regret any of the changes he has made to his body, saying that he finally felt -handsome- after getting his first facial tattoo

As someone who was formally into the Gothic style, I can attest that the look is 100% to intimidate and scare people away. It stems from deep childhood trauma and it is the human animal's way of protecting itself from further hurt. Much like porcupine quills or brightly colored venomous frogs. It all screams, Stay back! Don't eat me! It's really incredibly sad to witness from the outside. This man needs therapy for his trauma. It may not change his asthetic, but it will benefit him tremendously.

He looks awesome, he's that kind of person, who is able to have lots of body mods, and still make it look amazing.
Just one question - when he's doing his make-up, he first gets his powder on, and then he sticks on those -stickers- (I don't know what those are called) - aren't they gonna stick better, if he first got them on, ad then the powder? Just asking: D
PS. : Sorry for my English, it is not my birth language: D

It-s a shame people feel they need to change drastically to feel more confident. I was also bullied and I feel way more confident now but growing up and older helps a lot. Also achieving this and that as you go, having some money do wonders as well. But you don-t necessarily need to focus on your appearance to aid the process.

Every one wants to be unique. Tattoo whole body. get fangs. split tongue. blackout eyes. Uniquely like hundreds of others. Get followers who also want to be unique. thousands of people who look like you.

I love it he looks Gorgeous - in the red with the long black hair. I always loved vampires and things of that nature. Live your life to the fullest despite how any one else feels.

A personality completely void without tattoos and makeup. I love tattoos and have sleeves/few leg as well. but its sad to see how empty and disconnected some people are without them.

So basically you are just a human with cheap tattoos who wears black clothes and says you are a vampire, in reality you are human and can never change that. I understand now!

Plain and simple they are and look like freaks who are harming the minds of children and anyone who supports this is just as much of a freak

I don-t know why but I got a milli vanilli (sp) vibe when they both walked out of the house in the red outfits. Yes, I-m old, I know.

I feel that people feel compelled to just state something nice here. I myself have nothing nice to say about this at all.
