I find these statements about being judged very cringy and cliche. I have an extremely long beard, and doing anything that's visually unusual to the masses will bring attention both positive and negative. It's just part of the territory. I don't sit around and whine dwelling upon how so-and-so said something that hurt my fee-fees. Hell, if you have the balls to do something different, especially to this extreme, you need to be a bit thick skinned. It's hard to say if they're engaging in the victimhood mindset that is raging in popularity right now or if they were led into that discussion by the documentary crew, hopefully it's the latter, but either way it's cringy.

I dont see how someone would want to do this to themselves. Like what hits you in the head one day to desire such? What are the inluences and expereinces that makes a human being want to alter their appearence perminently. Anthropologie insists that we come from animals but seeing this type of behavior doesnt convince me. Fells like there are forces/energy of somekind that pull people into different directions and im curious what that is.

Eiyiyiyi. -Society sees us in a negative way. - Yeah, well. Also, yes black work and tattooing in general are addictive to some people because your body produces adrenaline and natural pain killers to deal with the pain. It is a very limited sensation with a very permanent result.

I feel like the Brutal black or whatever would be PERFECT for one who likes to cut or self harm. I use to cut probably 20 yrs ago, and if I knew about the brutal black thing I would have gone and gotten it done. Self harm with harm reduction. Thoughts anyone?

I was disturbed by this, I have tattoos but this was to much for me. but everyone has certain things they like. I have nothing bad to say about them they seem like good ppl but I'm not a fan of the body modification

I just had my nostril basically amputated due to skin cancer and it looks exactly like this dude's.
