All you moms use the word -Comfort- for continuing to breastfeed your children up to and past school age! Then you want to top it off with the word -Bonding-. There are to many things you can buy or do for your child for comforting purposes and to make the bond between you and your child strong! Breastfeeding past 2yrs old is just an excuse that benefits the mom not the child. There is no nutritional value in breastfeeding after 2yrs old. Children are vaccinated from birth and through there school years to help prevent certain diseases. The food they eat, the liquids they drink and the vitamins they are given on a daily basis is enough to help them develop mentally and physically.

I think why most woman don-t breast feed as much and for so long is because we have entered to working force. It depends on the lifestyle of the mother. I also want to point out that breastfeeding for so long and on command does not leave much room for a romantic life. After a few months on working long hours, then breastfeeding when you get home, no time for a romantic life because baby wants to sleep in the bed. Once my kids were ready for solid food I got them off.

To me it's disgusting because a four or five year old will remember the taste, feeling, of mommys nipple in his/mouth when he is grown, and that is not something a person wants to remember-honestly. I would not put my kids through that embarrassment. Also breastfeeding big kids is more for the mommy to get some weird satisfaction, than for the big kid, who just does it to please mommy.

I don't care who doesn't like my comment but 4 years old is to old for that! And believe or not breastmilk loses the nutritional after a certain time! If a kid can eat solid food stop THE BREASTFEEDING LADY! IF THE KID CAN SPEAK CLEARLY THAT'S TIME GET THEM OFF THE BREASTMILK! No problem with it, but she-s not doing it for nutritional reasons or for health reasons, it-s just a comfort tool no different from pacifiers. It-s so hard at that age to get any nutrition from it due to her size and how often she-s doing it (it would have little to no benefit. To each their own though, she-s not hurting anyone.

The baby should have stopped breastfeeding from her mother when she was 2 or 3. But, it's not like she's still going to be breastfeeding her when she's 10. Her 4 year old is basically still considered a baby plus she's getting nutrients from her mother's milk. I see nothing wrong with it.

She's so possessive of her kids and attachment to them that she likes being a single mom. I think that sums up quite a lot. I don't have opinions on breastfeeding, I think it can be healthy, but I would probably prefer to pump to support childs independence at that age

In our society, I don't understand why people share these photos/videos with the world, as there's a lot of weirdos who do get off on this stuff. Even if it's not shameful for you, putting your child out there like that can def attract pedos & other sick individuals.

My mom breastfed all 9 of her kids until we were probably 2. 5y or 3y. None of us have allergies and I attribute that to being breastfed as a baby.
