We\'re bald and beautiful - shake my beauty Fit4: When I was in my twenties I started highlighting my hair. Over time I had like three different blonde colors and couldn't get them blended. So I did something crazy I cut all my hair off. This was the only way to grow new hair that wasn't damaged. It's something I actually suggest for anyone who has really damaged hair due to dying it.
Anyways it was a freeing experience! I didn't actually shave it but yeah I cut it extremely close to my scalp. It took many years for my hair to grow back and my hair gets dry but it's a lot more flat and manageable than it was.
I never dyed it again and I would tell girls that are thinking of changing their hair color don't! Get wigs! Fake or real or both and not the long ones get ones that are easy to put on and take care of. Those long ones are no good and they can get messy. Short to medium length are best. Anyways once all the hair was gone I could see the true beauty! I used to think my hair defined my looks but then when it was gone it made me realize that that wasn't what made me beautiful. It's your face that makes you beautiful. Not your hair not your body not your make up.

I live in eastern Washington state, I'm almost seventy years old and have suffered with trichotillomania, hair pulling, since I was thirteen years old. But my hair loss isn't a genetic problem, because of things going on in my family, being the eldest, well, instead of cutting myself, I pulled my hair out. So it's my fault I'm bald. I applaud these women, I feel small against their unwavering courage and self confidence! Maybe in my next life I will be as strong! Thank you ladies for sharing your story of personal victory! Grandma hugs to you!

The first story hit close to home. I went to college in Bellingham WA. It's where I met my spouse back in 2003. The couple's story of acceptance and unconditional love reminded me of my own. My husband and I are complete opposites, but he loves me just as I am. Wishing you many more happy years together!

There are a lot of people that think their hair defines them but really not having hair actually shows your face. She's absolutely beautiful so really she doesn't need hair! The second woman is also beautiful. People don't need hair to be good looking. Lol

This girl seems awesome and confident.
My mom has alopecia and went bald when I was 15. It's been almost 10 years and there is no sign of her hair ever coming back. I think she totally rocks it, and is super confident now!

+barcrftmedia -Thanks for a dossier on alopecia. - I wouldn't mind a bald woman as a date, provided that she's in the practical dimensional ballpark for a dance partner for a cismale of 5'-11- (1. 81m) OA height.

Such confidence! I really admire you.
I too, suffer from alopecia for many years, but I wear wigs, I just don't have that kind of confidence.

So when a few thousand/million women go bald it-s a tragedy. But when I and BILLIONS go bald it-s business as usual? - females are such a joke

I was always scared that people would make fun of me once I lose my hair but now I-m confident in losing my hair and I don-t care what people think: )

Kylie is such a wonderful person. all of them are. but something about her struck a chord. she is so cheerful and beautiful inside and out.

Women will comment on this calling it empowering but then go on social media and return to body-shaming bald men.
