WHEN Lorenz Dries noticed a pain in his jaw while running, little did he realise that this would lead to cancer treatment and ultimately his jaw having to be amputated. After being diagnosed with a maligned tumour in the jaw, Lorenz underwent radiotherapy but ultimately doctors told him they had to remove part of his jaw, including all bottom teeth, in order to effectively amputate. He was unable to eat anything solid and in and out of hospital for two years. To date he has had over 30 surgeries. But rather than let his treatment and altered appearance get him down, Lorenz decided to turn his experiences into a positive. Lorenz started a YouTube channel that

Hello Viking.
My name is Jeff. Im dealing with a jaw cancer diagnoses. I keep putting off the surgery. You have given me a lot of insight. I have been locked in the house for months now planning my death. I have to make up my mind what to do. Im 63 going on 64. This is my 4th time with cancer. I was going to have the surgery. I was at the hospital for the surgery a few weeks ago. The doctor came to my bedside and said that they could not find a good vein. And if they operated and took a vein from my leg I would louse my right foot. So I went to The Mayo Clinic in Arizona. I waiting to hear back from them. My doctor in L. A. I have a appointment next week. They will pressure me to have the surgery there. Keck USC. The want to put metal were they take out the piece of my lower jaw. Mayo wants to use my shoulder blade. Part of me has had enough. Im tired of getting cut up. I had my 2nd chin flap 2 years ago. Some words of wisdom are needed. Best Jeff

What a unfair and unjust world we live in don't take anything for granted cancer is on the rise in young people for some odd reason. i have known more young people die of it in my life than old people somethings wrong with that people that didn't smoke or drink back 50 years ago it was rare for a young person to die of cancer now just about everyone knows someone who has died from it at a young age and still no cure what a joke they can make a pandemic vaccine in no time but can't cure something that's plagued mankind since the beginning what a joke in the end life is a game of numbers and of luck sadly that's something you learn once you grow up

I am a cosmetician with specialization in plastic and reconstruction surgery. It is a labour of love; I love doing it. It's highly interactive, but it's also some degree of guesswork. It's always best to have 3-5 sessions, and have something that the client can do for themselves.

Congratulations on your recovery! You are an inspiration for many! Have you heard of the dance hall king Yelloman? He has a similar journey and perhaps you can share your journey with him? All the best to you and your loved ones!

In my lifetime, the same thing happened to Vidal Sassoon. The Queen's hairdresser. also known as Mt. Teezy Weezy.
Anyone else remember that? BTW I'm now 75.
