IN 2020, Holly was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, an inflammatory bowel disease. Speaking to Truly, Holly explained: Ulcers line your colon and are very inflamed. So whenever you eat food, it'll make the ulcers more sensitive and cause bleeding. Initially prescribed with suppositories to ease the pain, they didn't work for Holly and soon things took a turn for the worse. I was at a point when I couldn't get off the floor because I was in so much pain. I couldn't move, I couldn't wash, I couldn't eat, I couldn't do anything, Holly said. Rushing to hospital, Holly was told that her colon was about to burst and she had no choice but to have an ileostomy, where surgeons created a stoma. Now relying on a permanent stoma bag, Holly started sharing her story on social media, in a bid to normalise having a stoma. She declared: What I want people to know about people with a stoma bag, is that they're not just a stoma bag. They're a person and they can do whatever they want to do in life. In this episode of Shake My Beauty, we'll see how Holly styles her stoma bag and why having one doesn't mean that you have to change your fashion choices. Reflecting on her journey to body positivity, Holly said: You have to think that everybody in the world has insecurities. So if you're comparing yourself to the people that you see on Instagram or in magazines, even they don't look like that! Nobody is perfect, everybody has got their flaws and imperfections

Hey! Thank you for sharing your story! I got diagnosed with UC in 2011. I have a jpouch. I've had a ton complications. I recently found out I have Crohn's. I'm working towards getting healthy and figuring more things out. I enjoy knowing other stories -. Congratulations on the baby!

She-s a beautiful woman. For those asking, the UC can cause the lower intestines to the rectum to be inflamed with bloody ulcers. She had hers removed so the bag collects bowel movements (Poo, waste)
She can still have s-x so getting pregnant is a different body system

Love her positive energy. However, women need to own thier beauty and stop comparing themselves to barbie. Lame and childish to be obsessed with a doll/cartoon character. Guys don't go around claiming to be He-man.

I'm dressing as a Barbie as well to see the movie with my friends. My mom couldn't afford the doll when I was a child. So now I have even Barbie convertible. This girl is a hero-

I recognise the salofalk suppository. I have Crohns Colitis and these help me so much when I need them. Obviously I-m on the oral version for life,
