Great video from BBC Earth epic Wild South America. Learn more about the secret life of Bromeliads, a type of plant that thrives in an extreme rainforest environment. Watch as the plant is used as a drinking well for thirsty tree top monkeys and a swimming pool for preening brightly coloured birds

BlakePlaya I don't know. I just usually picture bank robbers wearing sketchy Halloween masks, and home invaders wearing hoodies with the hood pulled down over their face like in those commercials for home security systems.

Good documentary clip. Well narrated and shown. However, 14 highly educated researchers knew more stuff than what was shown. So, they gave it a thumbs down.

Why does someone think I'm interested in American Airlines and the odious people who travel on them? I'd be happier hitching a lift on a freight train!

yerk3 What's the difference between a 'convenience store robber mask' and a 'bank robber mask' or a 'house invasion robber mask'

I gave up on trying to bath birds. They keep flying away and drinking monkeys is a waste of time. They keep getting stuck in the blender.

Why do all those different species of bird use the same call? Is it to tell other birds it's there, so they can have a go?
