Feline Behaviourist Beth Adelman delves deeper into understanding Nora the cat's interest in the piano. Beth believes it is all about good vibrations Taylor: This is beyond nonsense. Let's go beyond the blatant false information. There is a problem with the argument itself. Let's pretend cats only get cancer in their extremities and have far fewer bone problems than dogs. First, cat and dogs are not comparable in any physiological way. They are very different animals with very different immune systems. The main thing they have in common is living among us and therefore if you would have suggested a common problem caused by the environmental factor of being with humans then that might be valid. Comparing sheep to elephants is absolutely not a valid scientific argument. Secondly, I have never ever heard of tail or paw cancer in cats or dogs. just because I havent heard it doesnt mean it doesnt exist, but lots of cats get cancer in their vital organs and die. Thirdly and most importantly, no evidence was provided to such an extraordinary claim. Absolutely not a shred. Extraordinary claims take extraordinary evidence and even poor evidence was not provided.

I wonder if that theory is true whether if you could isolate a specific frequency which cats enjoy and purr to the most (ideally one that is barely audible to the cat eardrum, tone it down and have it playing constantly, whether they would have better immunity, haemocrit & biomedical stats. If you experimented on this for a long time you could see if there is a significant difference in the rates of particular disease (e. g. - Cancer, Endocrine disorders) in cats that heard the frequency that enticed purring almost constantly (maybe at different exposure lengths as well) comparative to normal cats that weren't ever exposed to that specific frequency.
Please someone give me a job I'm a bored, unemployed, biomedical researcher.

i mean. if cancer is that easy to avoid. it is not hard to do a study on humans. it is very cheap too.
sell some vibrating pads or whatever for people to use at night, and then after a couple years, check on them.
if it really avoids cancer, and is not already in action, then that is pure malice.

Okay what? There's absolutely no scientific basis to this (at least none mentioned here. She literally went from Purring is a vibration(obviously, to It cures cancer. This video is just scientifically inept from start to finish.

That idiot stoner woman is so wrong. Cats get cancer in the body, and it is very common. And purring does NOT cure or heal a thing. They are simply comforting themselves.
reply

Umm. No. I have had 3 cats die from stomach cancer. This woman doesnt know what she is talking about. Cats dont get cancer in only their Tails and Feet.
reply

She looks like she was gonna cry the entire video and reminded me of that old meme of the girl crying saying she loves cats

I'd like to hear more on how they know purring is actually related to healing? sounds like a some shake therapy nonsense.
