Tracking and old bull elephant may lead us on a path to discovering the ancient paths of Angola. Michael: I wonder if you take into consideration in your research that you seperated it from the heard, adding unnecessary stress it trying to reconnect back with the other elephants. Or even worse, it being the oldest, was leading the other elephants to where they needed to go. The elephant/human problem is not rocket science to solve, STAY OUT OF THEIR ENVIROMENT, LEAVE THEM ALONE. You people are part of the problem as seen clearly in this video. The most beneficial action for this heard would be to use that helecopter for anti poaching, isnt it this that is driving them to extinction, not where are they wandering in their own enviroment.

The device of this collar definitely emits radiations-now the elephant is going to have abnormal changes in its ECG and it will soon die of cardiac arrhythmia or soon the animal is going to have skin cancer, cervical spine cancer, spinal cord or brain malignant tumor.
Any of the radiations tends to be cardiac arrhythmia inducer and carcinogenic.

For an unknown reason, I always cry when seeing an elephant. I hope the team has been following the tracking elephant until he catches up with his family. He must have been scared when waking up without his herd. It will be nice if there is an update video on the elephant. Thank you.

I know a lot of people talk about how animals like elephants receive too much funding compared to less well-known but also endangered species, but I really liked what the narrator said about if we can't save elephants, what hope is there for the rest of Africa's wildlife. So true!

So a bunch of white non-Africans belonging to some developed countries are collaring elephants of Africa and want the continent to remain the way it is! Cringe.
Save your own countries and it's wildlife man. The Africans are good at it.

Ah the noble scientist. Wrong at times, but never in doubt. Somehow exempt from the simple guideline of Do no harm. The nobility we have conferred upon those in the empirical fields of research is nothing short of puzzling.

Up to 40% of the animals these people tranquilize never wake up again. And, we really very little about wildlife. you dream? So its all about your dream then you scoundrel.

leave them be
they are doing what they have been doing for centuries
what was the purpose to dart this poor fellow and put an annoying collar on it

reply

There has to be a better way. Implant maybe? Those collars would cause depression in the elephants I reckon. They would be really irritating to wear 24/7.
