Clint Eastwood: The Story Of A Great Actor - Full Biography (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly) The Clint Eastwood films that I prefer are the 2 of Leones trilogy with LeeVan Cleef: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (which I appreciate for the rivalry between the trio of characters) and for a few dollars more (which I appreciate for the rivalry between the two bounty hunters. But also for his film Pale Rider (which I love for his character of a loner who changes the life of a small mining village during his visit. Clint Eastwood is the first actor to play the role of the solitary hero of spaghetti western films and the Sergio Leone trilogy is the one I prefer with the one that comes closest to it being the Sergio Solima trilogy which appeared shortly after (1960s. Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, Terence Hill (he has a certain physical resemblance to my father, Henry Fonda (who plays one of my favorite roles; that of Frank in Once Upon a Time in the West) and Antony Steffen are my 5 favorite actors. Then come Gianni Garko, Georges Eastman, Franco Nero, Jack Palance, Giuliano Gemma, Georges Hilton, Charles Bronson and other actors of this type of films who ARE BY FAR my favorites.\r\n

Clints defining role has to be -The man with no name-, the character is so central to so many of his later films, and so beautifully revisited in -The Unforgiven-. The Dollar westerns were so beautifully shot, and Sergio Leones cinematography emulated in many of Eastwoods other westerns, especially -High Plains Drifter-. The cemetery at -Sad Hill- from -The Good, the Bad and the Ugly- still exists, and is preserved by a group of local enthusiats, and that scene with Eli Wallach running around it to the strains of -Ecstasy of gold- from Ennio Morricone is cinematic art. And yet other more recent movies such as -The Bridges of Madison County- are so very different, and still beautiful in their own right; Meryl Streep was truly brilliant in that.

He seems to have forgotten a little movie he made with Kevin Costner. It was called -A Perfect Day. - Eastwood played a Sheriff after the robber, Costner. During his getaway, Costner picks up a young boy who was raised in a religion that did not allow for birthday or Halloween celebrations. The little boy actually has fun with Costner. That is, until the sheriff shoots him. Costner makes the mother promise to let the boy do things just for have fun before he dies under a tree with the boy beside him. It wasn't a -normal- sort of movie or story, but I always liked it. However, I found it very sad. Eastwood also directed this film.

There are some actors that get one maybe two really good. parts that they are remembered for but I've never seen a film where Clint wasn't good you asked which film do you think was his best roll, I can honestly say I think all his roles were memorable from raw hide to cry macho he's played all kinds of rolls from baddy to lover the only bad thing is he probably hasn't got to many films left to act in I'm gonna be gutted when he does pass I grew up watching his films through the 70's and can only thank him for the many hours of escapism he's provided me, You rule clint

We should have met in the business many years ago!
We would have connected quickly, I truly believe! He almost ran over me once on his bicycle in front of the Peninsula Hotel! I was a Intetnational Singer and Recording Artist. Andy Williams and I opened Caesar-s Palace! Then he bought a Sierra Towers Condo with a ocean view condo. that I had a interest in and sold it for him. But we never met personally unfortunately! I truly we would have enjoyed each other-s company! We will never know! I wish him a long and healthy life!

Watch 'The Eiger Sanction' again. Something Eastwood produced, directed, and starred in, so he IS responsible for the character. It is one of the most racist, misogynistic, homophobic characters ever put on film to be seen as 'cool'. Every woman wants to sleep with him - including his best friend's daughter who never says a word (Eastwood's perfect woman. Seriously, watch this and see for yourself how this did NOT age well!

Clint Eastwood has made so many great films that it's difficult to choose a favorite. He first got my attention and heart in the Good the Bad and the Ugly. I still watch it the music is great and he is awesome in it. A later film when he was a senior was Grand Torino. His acting skill really portrayed the main character.

Maybe people who think they-re intellectuals may have criticized it. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest had zero problems with the Dirty Harry character. In fact many people I knew wished all cops would be like him. I think the Depression had a major effect on him

If you knew him personally you would not like this man. I can say all types of words that describe the real Eastwood but I choose to be a lady and not repeat them. You may like him as an actor but I'd bet money you wouldn't like the real person that he is.

-After that there were two more expensive movies, The Eyehan-s Brifter and the Eigen Senshan- 35: 06 -- Hmm! I don-t believe I-ve had the pleasure of watching those two of Clint-s movies - Maybe they weren-t very popular, or box office flops or something -

He's an extremely limited, but intelligent actor, who clearly understood his limits. Don't get me wrong, he's great, in his way. I've loved a lot of his movies. But Peter O'Toole in Lawrence of Arabia, he aint.

Every which way but lose was Eastwood-s biggest box office up to that point. It was huge!
Also, it-s Magnum Force not Magnum Power
Michael Cimino is not Cimina.
Come on, do some homework work.

-Play misty for me- is my favorite movie. Jessica Walter performance as a psycho has not been matched as of today. She was spookier than all those Halloween dudes put together. RIP Jessica.

As a kid my Dad sat me infront of the TV and told me if you want to be a proper man when you grow up watch Clint Eastwood. The movie was The Eiger Sanction and I've been a fan ever since.

Eastwood is a Masonic name. As Illuminati controlled Hollywood, Illuminati and Freemasonry were not allied between 1955-1968, so Clint Eastwood was rejected by Hollywood that time.

Clint is an icon of the genera but the western will have other heroes, iconic ones. Kevin Costner and Kurt Russel for instance, even Val Killmare is a legend in just one movie.

Clint Eastwood, the last western hero? I have no idea where you got that idea from, but as far as I know, actor Robert Fuller is still alive, You need to do better research.

Great subject, poorly delivered, badly edited. Examples Eastwood was not drafted into Air Force, the jazz man he liked was Dizzy Gillespie not dis gilspy.

I'm sure Eastwood never measured his height in centimeters. Why you chose to do that shows a complete lack of professionalism.
