Harrison Ford: The Star Carpenter's Life - Full Biography (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Blade Runner)
video description
Um, excuse me?
Yeah, freedom comes with an equal amount of responsibility, always.
If you live in an urban setting, you have very little freedom. But your accommodations are sold to you.
Your food is sold to you. You provide a service (again you have little freedom) and in return you get the means to live.
But, if you were to run off to the forest, you would be fending for yourself.
That would be the ultimate freedom with all the responsibility.
So, flying is not the only situation in which you have an equal amount of responsibility to the freedom you have.
Though you may really get a sense how true it is when in contrast to the banality of life.
I think what would stand out more is how much distance you can have from your own life when flying over everything.\r\n

My friend worked as a carpenter with Harrison once. They were working on a big producer's home. As they were working, he asked him if he had done any acting lately, and he replied, -Yeah, it's called -Star Wars. - My friend asked him what it was about, and he said, -it's like a space opera. Check it out and tell me what you think. - My friend saw it that week and was so excited about it that he had to tell Harry that night, and went to his little house in the Hollywood Hills to tell him that the movie was going to make him a star, but nobody was home. He knew Harry always kept his kitchen window open, so he crawled through it, found a piece of paper and a pen, wrote a small note, and left it on his refrigerator door. On it he wrote: -Dear Harry. Your carpentry days are over. -

Everything in this documentary on Harrison was fantastic till the dig on President Trump complimenting Harrison for standing up for the United States. Trump was obviously well aware this was a PEDOWOOD MOVIE so for Harrison going on late night to remind Trump -it was a Hollywood movie- and then the narrator chuckling while repeating this to us the viewers PIST ME THE F OFF. Drab boring buffoons. You all will very soon regret mocking the only man to ever put it all on the line for every damn American, even his haters and detractors. Truly disgusting how liberals and their wicked evil nasty character assassination attempts. Minor and slight but still, unnecessary. Regretful. You SUCK, narrator.

When I was young and foolish I used to give other people more credit than they should have as if they were more important than, say, a person raising children alone. Now that I'm older and can see Ford's ego, I respect him less. I've liked many of his films, but I won't see one anymore just because he's in it. Not for many years. Glad he's found success for his sake, but I have no idolization for a human being no better than any other.

Hello
I was working at a house in LA back in 1976 ish
Hanging Wallpaper
Harrison ford was there making a water bed for the owner who's name was Fred Roos it's was a dumpy house in one of the caynons in the area
He's was a real Pro and his work 2 to none
This I think was before Star Wars because at that time I remember him as the guy who drove the 55 chevy in American Graffiti
It's how it was back then
Good times.

I have belief in Casting Directors. I have only seen One movie where a character was unbelievable, and it must have been so insignificant I don't remember it. -20: 47 ERROR, Screen says, -5 Million-, narrator says $500, 000? Which is true? -21: 36, Flash of Ear stud, I heard left ear is an advertisement of Queer looking for Queer 'buddy'?

He had to grow a beard again. -My wife will never forgive me for that. - What? You mean the wife that you support and work to support the marriage? Forgive you for doing your job? These statements always perplex me. How about you never forgive you wife for making such an idiotic statement.

It-s comical how often the budgets (yellow money pop ups) are written incorrectly. Half way through and almost half of them have been incorrect so far. $300million written 3million, 221million written as 21million. it-s making me laugh.
Deep dive though. Good video otherwise. Just funny.

-He seemed kind- according to Fisher as one of her reasons for having an affair with him. If he was kind, he wouldn-t be sleeping with a 19 year old when he had a wife and kids at home. The delusional thinking of women when it comes to bad men really boggles my mind sometimes-

I remember the story of the sword fighter in Indiana Jones differently. Lucas wanted a sword fight and his wife jumped in once more to change it to the scene we all know. She also corrected some of Lucas bad writing like renaming Luke from Starkiller to Skywalker.

I had to stop watching when the host said Ford got his break with a worthless character. I used to be a Ford fan till it came out he despises both the roles that made him a star. Its a case of -I'm too good for the trash that made my career, what a shmuck

You don't even mention the scar under his lower lip, even though you talk extensively about his carpentry experience. They even wrote a background story into the first minutes of -Last Crusade- (first-ever use of the bullwhip: self-inflicted injury --)

The voice-overs and cut scenes in this video are hilarious, when they're mismatched. My favorite one is when he talks about The Fugitive being one of the first western films to be shown in the modern PRC, but the stock footage is of Kim Jong Un.

I have lost faith in Ford and will not watch him anymore. He hated Star Wars and destroyed Indy. His two most iconic characters he had no respect for and those characters made him a superstar. So I am no longer a fan.

The new -Indiana Jones- is great BTW. Don't listen to the Disney haters. While I agree with them in premise the film is great. The female lead is terrible and annoying but Ford makes up for that - go see it!

6: 21 - So sad to hear that Ford's attempt at an acting career -ended in failure. - I guess he just became another one of the hordes of actors who try but never make it in Hollywood.

Thanks for making your thumbnail have nothing to do with the content of the video, trying to sucker me into watching it by being interested in that other thing your video isn't about.

The producers of the video need to learn how to write American Dollar Amounts. They are lucky for they are 50% correct. Did they even attend school and pay attention to any part of it?

Hire someone to proof read - and proof watch - your videos. This is a mess. 57: 59 is a perfect example of your ineptitude. The movie 42 stands out among the space battles? What?

Please go over the script before recording. Ford did not ask the -customer- for a suit, that would be the costumer. And the people of the Philippines speak Tagalog, NOT Tag-along.

His last role as Indy was garbage as he is outshined by a women as all films now make men seem incompetent and women are stronger than any man in the film. Hollywood is trash now.

Ford certainly changed what a supporting actor meant in the industry. I think, my two favoutite leading roles of his were Hannover Street, and Bladerunner.

Your pics don't always jive with the narrative. His first wife was Mary, you pictured the second wife, Melissa. I didn't watch the whole thing.
