I guess i-m old because I never heard of him until justice league (my kids aren-t into those highschool movies he was in) as for his newest scandals I do believe in innocence until proven guilty but something is noticeably off about ezra but being that he-s young he has time to turn his life around sometimes we condemn the youth forgetting that a lot of us was wild until we grew up. Now ezra accusations are a bit extreme but as I get older I believe in forgiveness if a person earns it. Im still not calling him them/they -

A lot of opinions here, but i guess nobody nows them personally. I think they have a beautiful soul and i really hope that they can find happines again in their music and hopefully actingcareer. Whatever makes them happy. Its very easy to blame someone behind a keybord. We all make mistakes and one by one the alligations will fall against them. In the end hopefully come out that they did nothing wrong but the internet has already plead them guilty. Well not for me, love them and always will -

However this -they- & -them- terminology is quite frankly confusing
If the gender fluid community are not comfortable with he or she, then maybe -this- -it- -is- -indifferent- or -undetermined- would be better pro nouns as at least these are singular rather than plural references.

My generation (children of baby boomers) have utterly failed our children. We have 60 year old men having 8 year old girls giving mandatory book reports on picture books in front of a class discussing how they like or don-t like their private parts touched and if you disagree you-re labeled a bigot. Nowourkids are starting to raise kids. What to do.

I think the word -they- should be followed by -were- not -was-. It just grates on me as poor grammar. In the 60-s we referred to someone like Ezra as trying to be -freakier than thou- but he crossed the line when he involved a 13 year old girl and attacked fans.

FYI: They/them pronouns can be used in the singular, according to the APA. If you don-t want to refer to someone with they/them pronouns because of some feigned concern for English grammar rules, you are not only a bigot, you are also incorrect.

They and their are plurals. I'm fine with someone wanting to have an ambiguous pronoun, but come up with one that hasn't been used for hundreds of years to describe a plurality of people. Make up a frickin new word. It shouldn't be that hard.
