What are civil liberties?
They are limitations placed on the government to protect individual freedoms
2. What are civil rights?
Curbs on the power of the majority to make decisions that would benefit some at the expense of others - protects the minorities by protection against discrimination.
3. What are substantive liberties? What are procedural liberties?
They are limits on what the government can do. Procedural liberties are limits on how the government can act
4. What does the fourteenth amendment state? Why is it so important?
No state shall abridge on the rights listed in the constitution, equal protection, etc. Is is important because before citizens may be protected from unjust punishment by the national government, but there was nothing stopping the states.
5. What is selective incorporation?
Means that cases of states infringing on rights are reviewed on a case by case basis by the Supreme Court, but it only happens for each ruling once.

How could you people just can kill me and my kids and pay THOSE people who killed us to BRAGGING WORLDWIDE of what the did to us calling me and my kids all kinds of name. I'm watching this 5 years later for a college class I have to take a test on. But I was absolutely ecstatic to find that Wheezy Waiter himself is the host of this. Been a sub to him for like a decade. I love this.

well the second amendment actualy says- A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of THE PEOPLE to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. You didnt read the whole amendment there buddy. so it does specify by who. you are just uneducated

ok this is completely irrelevant and holds no educational value but I'm going to say it anyways, the fact that Craigs mom in the thought bubble also has a beard made me laugh in the middle of the night, which I'm pretty sure woke my brother up and now I'm scared T=T

I been back in 2001 to get help but I was told to not put up a pitty party so I couldn't get no help back then for me and my kids and still today I can't get legal help
