I think one of the biggest problems with gender theory lies in the proof of the existence of this spectrum. It's very easy to argue that male and female genders (though socially relative) exist in societies because of the existence of norms over biological behaviors. However, since there is no biological basis for a gender spectrum, instead a psychological basis, the argument can be made that a person's adherence to a socially defined gender is not a gender in and of itself but rather a measure of deviant behavior.

Sociology is not science. Its a collective of kids from the 90s getting roped into the college pipeline and picking sociology as a major. After graduating they realize they were sold a garbage degree with no use so in an attempt to legitimize there carreer choice they perpetuate overthought complex fantasy. I just need to get through this libral bias nonsense class. Thanks for the cohesive presentation.

I don't understand why to speak about the heteronormativity as about a bad thing when it is nothing else as a dominant evolution strategy that brought our society where it is now. Sure any state and any society (read people) want to support it. At least it they want to survive.

No, people do not constantly think about performing their gender, especially straight people, we dont talk or think about it at all, there is no need to. You might, but thats you, we are not going to, its weird

That paupau new guinea thing you described is one of the sickest things ive ever heard, that society needs to be forced to stop that immediately, its f---ing sick!
