we'll cover the basics of three phase inverters. We'll explain what they are, what they do, and how they work. If you're looking to Raptor: One thing i dont understand is that why don't they just use a brush less motor for inverting dc to ac? I mean it will make it a lot less complex. You can just attach a magnet to the shaft of the motor and then wind three pairs of coiled wire in a circle around it, and boom! You get a three phase ac current

3 phase is completely unnecessary today as nobody direct wires AC induction motors anymore in industrial settings. Everything goes through a VFD (veritable frequency drive) which determines the voltage, current and frequency to directly control motor speed, soft starting and power output.

So what exactly is a 3 phase inverter? It looks like you get the same thing you got from the start. Is there supposed to be a 180 deg phase shift in all of the lines? Is that what is meant by inverter?

Wow I always wondered how these inverters worked, I never realized how simple of a concept they were. Thanks for the video
