The 50 000 years earimate is simply impoasible. Not only would you have to suspend your disbelieve about how long a human body can last, regardless of -technology- but what about all of the other stuf? I am willing to bet that most of the stuff, especially the underground portion of the facilty, would be decompoaed at thia point, yet you find flimsy things like notebooks flying around. Not to mention the -spoilers- this has about Half Life. We now know the Earth is fine long after the events of Episode 2.

I feel like F-Stop would've been some time-manipulating thing like some sort of time gun to freeze objects mid-air to do some sick parkour or if you freeze something in the right place it blocks a laser and allows you to go through, stuff like that. But we got a masterpiece, so I don't really care to think about it much longer.

According to my sources the announcer said 9999999 and the first announcement he said 50 days so that means it was days and 9999999 days is 27, 000 years or it could be 9 years because the announcer glitched, it can't be 9 days either since the facility can't go to ruins in a few days

The portal uses sodium to create portals. Think about it, there is a salt mine purchased by the guy who founded aperture labs, it is white, there is TONS of it on the moon, and it can even be liquified in many different ways. Salt water, molten sodium, etc. Making a gel with it would be no problem at all.

BTW, glados didnt use neurotoxin the moment she was activated, she instead wanted to kill the scientists the moment she was activated, appearantly wanting to kill them only 10 picoseconds after being activated. she only used neurotoxin after asking for some to test but instead flooded the facility with it

Lets say 50, 000 years was the time chell was sleping that would mean the half life and everythiing that happened would hav been long done (that might explain the ending for portal 2 were everything is thriving unlike in half life where everything aint bussin)

I 99% sure cave and caroline adopted chell, caroline (as GLaDOS) says whats wrong with being adopted to wheatley, as if defending it, and lets chell live at the end among other clues like cara mia being sung by the turrets.

In 20, 000 years Aperture Science wouldn't be overgrown, it would be gone. The level of overgrowth you see in Portal 2 is consistent with a site that's been abandoned for decades, not for millennia.
